Update: Task #9 has been fixed! Now all of them should be doable.
Update #2: Task #10 is also bugged – instead of 150, it requires 200 damage. Luckily you’re still able to complete it.
One of the parts of the recent Patch 22.4 was a limited-time Mercenaries event themed around Y’Shaarj. Players are taken on a journey through 10 tasks – completing all of them rewards you with the Y’Shaarj mercenary, a random Golden Y’Shaarj Portrait, the Diamond Y’Shaarj Portrait, and 750 total Mercenaries Coins. So if you’re an avid Mercenaries player, it might be worth completing them. The event lasts until June 21, so be sure to finish them before that.
However, the tasks aren’t exactly easy. Even if you have a nice roster of Mercenaries, you might need to find the right composition, pick the right equipment and so on. Because of that, our writer Old Guardian has prepared video guides for each of the tasks, including “budget” versions of some of them (targeted at players who might not have the necessary Mercs to do it the easier, regular way) and he gave us permissions to post them here.

Although his mercs have like everything unlocked and at 4+, which might skew results. 😛
Yeah, those limited time events are not very “budget-friendly”, you have to be playing the mode for a while already to complete them. But it’s nice to see that OG still tries to make some more F2P-oriented comps anyway.
It’s a sad day… even Old Guardian can’t save us from this one… and he did save us a lot of times in this mode already 🙁
