Yep – we’re finally catching up! I’ve been asked to make wallpapers for the latest sets multiple times, so I’ve decide to finally take care of it. First I made Descent of Dragons (+Galakrond’s Awakening) ones, while Ashes of Outland should come out soon.
The reason why I haven’t done it like I did previously is because for a while now, Blizzard isn’t sharing a lot of their official card artwork, and most of the wallpapers are based on that. It’s much harder to find them now (usually when artists themselves are posting them online), not to mention that they often come in low resolution so they needed to be upscaled (with a filter or two applied so they don’t look bad). Some of them couldn’t be saved (really low resolution or some jpeg artifacts that looked very poorly after upscaling), and a lot of amazing artwork is nowhere to be found.
Still, I managed to create almost 100 wallpapers with an even split – 48 for mobile & 48 for desktop. All of the wallpapers are in 1920 x 1080 resolution (or 1080 x 1920 for mobile) – I would love to make them bigger, like 4k or at least 1440p, but it was already difficult to get some images to the Full HD size. If you need any of the wallpapers in a different resolution you can ask in the comments and I’ll try to do it.
Big shoutout to the artists who created those amazing pieces. And of course – all the images belong to Blizzard, I just upscaled/resized/cropped them.
Oh, and while she’s not directly part of the expansion, I also included wallpaper for Sylvanas Hunter Hero (she was released during DoD) – it looks really cool!

Am I the only one creeped out by the tiny Galakrond arms?
Hahah, definitely not the only one. I remember a lot of people talking about it when DoD came out.
But the weirdest Dragons arms have to be original Ysera’s (https://gamepedia.cursecdn.com/hearthstone_gamepedia/c/c6/Ysera_full.jpg) – people memed the hell out of those arms back in the day.
