    Even with Animated Berserker on the board, its a 3 mana 1/3 that summons a 2/2. Seems pretty average if you ask me...

      then Its a 3 mana 3/5 that spawns at least another 2/2 unless they spend a silence or hex/poly on it. Seems pretty legit honestly

        It has to survive the damage in order to spawn a 2/2, in the scenario described above a 3 attack minion can kill it

        They said that it's a 1/3 when Animated Berserker is on the board (the 1 mana 1/3 whenever you play a minion deal 1 damage to it).

    This seems like a decent card. Assuming that you get the absolute minimum and only summon one ghouls that is still a 1/4 and a 2/2. In comparison Pantry Spider guarantees 2 1/3 beasts. At it's worst it is about as good as a very decent card. This is not even getting into how it can be made much more effective with healing, buffs, pinging it with 1 damage spells/effects, or other things.

      That's not true, at it's very worst it's just a 1/4.

        Yes, that could happen but for that to be your opponent would have to have destroyed it without damaging or silenced it. This would likely mean your opponents was forced to use their unique removal cards which they have a limited number or playing suboptimally. I personally consider that being better than summoning only a single 2/2 since this is a mere 3 cost card.

          Or have have a minion with 4 attack? If you draw this in the mid-late game it becomes useless almost all of your opponent minions can kill this and most aoe effects do 4 or more damage.

            I missed the requirment for the minion to survive for the effect to trigger, my bad.

    This + Cruel Taskmaster on turn 5 is 1* (3/3) , and 2*(2/2). No insane turn 5 but overall solid i think.
