Easily top 5 cards in the set and it got less than 2 stars on here. People really suck when it comes to evaluating cards. See all you haters in 2 months when this is gonna be the most talked about card in the set…

This card… sucks… we all see it, except for that control warrior sitting in the corner over there… BUT I WILL MAKE A TENTACLE BASED WARRIOR DECK! A WASTE OF DUST? OF COURSE IT IS, I DON’T CARE! TENTACLES!

This card is so fing bad that i want to return it to my hand and play it again …NOT!!!! It’s worse than fiery war ax and costs THREE more mana. Some amazing card needs to come out that gets buffed by the number of times you play weapons or something.

People think this card is shit but it is crazy for control warrior. Think of all the matchups where you just armor + pass for a bunch of turns in a row. This card is something you can play on those turns and infinitely push for more damage. It is obviously not a turn 5 play, its tempo is fucking horrendous, but I think it can be great for control war. The fact that its a weapon and not a minion also means that you can’t silence the deathrattle.

Do you people just not realize the potential of LITERALLY AN INFINITE DAMAGE CARD in control warrior? A class that often hero powers and passes, meaning that the mana cost has NO EFFECT. THIS CARD IS ABSOLUTELY INSANE for any control warrior, that extra 2 damage a turn wins any fatigue matchup instantly. You have to think of the card in the context in which it will be used, not just the statline and effect.

Wow! Infinite “value”! Let’s be real. It’s a shitty card. 5 mana for 4 damage over 2 turns. There are so many other 5 drops that are 100% better than this rubbish. “But it is infinite damage…” Yeah well so is a minion on board unblocked.

I think that this card can be good in the right archetype if you include one in a control warrior. Your goal in the deck will be to win via fatigue and thus card could gaurantee that you win the fatigue war against another control deck, or an aggro deck that got you to low health early game. When you’re at the point where your opponent has no cards, even if you would lose to fatigue damage, this gives you an extra 2 damage every turn, which can often win you the game in a fatigue match. However finding this in your opening hand would be terrible, but with only one copy needed it wouldnt be too likley to show up.

You know what else give you 2 damage each turn when your opponent has no cards? Murloc raider.

Every card in the game has potential to be good in the right meta, this is good in a Fatigue / Control heavy meta, so stop hating and fuck the haters, you don’t even see the fun factor in it!
Friendly matches to the ultimate fatigue damage!

    March 27, 2016 at 5:04 pm

I’m really hoping that they are planning to add a card that makes this worthwhile… Or at least not terrible.

Otherwise, this is way too slow versus aggro (you probably won’t play it a second time), and can’t kill off control-style minions. If you’re playing versus midrange, then you lose a huge amount of tempo every time you play this; if you don’t have board clear, you’ve just about lost.

If this card deducted one mana from its cost each time it was played, it would be interesting, but this card is just bad as it is… Unless Blizzard buffs the card or gives us a card to make a good combo with it, this will be among the worst cards in the game (a new friend for Lorewalker)…

    • Mystik
      March 27, 2016 at 11:29 am

Speaking of the Lorewalker… You cold spam your opponent’s hand with this card. Just drown them in Tentacles for arms, and as a warrior you would assumedly be more capable of buffing it. Of course, that strategy would still be garbage, but hey

No way this is going to be played in standard, wild or arena! Stats are bad and too slow.

    • Jppd
      April 4, 2016 at 11:43 pm

Arena nope, but in standard fatigue warrior most definitely. Probably wild also. But only as a one of.

    That belongs to a museum!

    • Nightfall
      March 30, 2016 at 10:10 am

I don’t think you can count tentacles as artifact for a museum, and I don’t think you can call cut off body parts museum artifacts anyways… lastly, it actually only gets destroyed for 1 card most of the time, not that its much more with other warrior weapons

  16. ZekeHyle
    March 26, 2016 at 2:36 am

Stats are awful. Looking at this and the 1st mate (1/3 weapon) they seem to aim at weapon buffing as theme for warrior.
Right now only Spiteful Smith, Greenskin and Ogrimmar Aspirant fit that role so there should be some minions coming to aid there.

    EPIC HEARTHSTONE BATTLES OF HISTORYYYYY!!!

    DREADSTEED… VERSUS… TENTACLES FOR ARRRMMMS!!

    BEGIN!

    • jeniok
      March 26, 2016 at 12:18 am

Dredsteed is way waaay better. If you think hard this card is a 5 mana 2-2 or ……. 10 mana 4-4. Or a 15 mana 6-6. So instead of playing good cards your “recking” everyone with your 2-2. Blizzard WTF is going with ur brain sometimes???

  18. Grump
    March 25, 2016 at 7:17 pm

Keep in mind that they are slowing down the meta a ton, and if N’zoths first mate is anything to go by, we may be getting a pirate warrior or a warrior more centered around weapons in the near future. It’s definitely true that in the current, fast paced, meta we are in, that this card is severely underpowered, However, cards are being taken out and put in so how can we know for sure this card will be terrible?

    March 25, 2016 at 6:55 pm

This looks so great to me. A great anti midrange tool. At five it hits just before shieldmaiden. Your armor should be high at that point against midrange and you’ll be out of removal spells. You are also in a holding pattern until you get to drop your bombs. I think this will be a very strong tool for CW. It’s not deathsbite but if you change the deck to compliment it it’s the second best weapon for warrior in standard.

    • Liam
      March 25, 2016 at 7:29 pm

Shieldmaiden rotates out with gnomes vs goblins 🙁

    • anon
      March 27, 2016 at 7:57 pm

“2nd best weapon” This is like a butter knife compared to fiery war axe or deaths bite. You’d have better luck using Cursed Blade.

  20. Mystik
    March 25, 2016 at 6:47 pm

What about playing it with Spiteful Smith? You could probably make this card worthwhile, but it wouldn’t be until REALLY late game.

    • Nightfall
      March 26, 2016 at 5:28 am

spiteful smith works, I guess, but when spiteful smith is dead the card goes back to a very bad 5 mana 2/2 weapon

  21. Arkyion
    March 25, 2016 at 5:40 pm

Okay, so a 2/2 weapon for 5 is garbage, no argument there. However, I think that this card might give some much-needed staying power to cards like Orgrimmar Aspirant and Upgrade; if you’re likely to have a semi-reliable way to keep a weapon in your hand and on the board, you’re more likely to play cards that benefit weapons. I wouldn’t be surprised to see this pop up as a One-Of in a pirate warrior deck of some kind.

  24. Lennon255
    March 25, 2016 at 4:24 pm

This should have been a 4 mana card, or at least had 3 attack.

  25. Tomathus
    March 25, 2016 at 4:20 pm

Maybe this could work as a one of in a fatigue warrior build where infinite value cards are super important and valuable. however warrior already has Gorehowl, so maybe this is a hint that blizzard will be nerfing my favorite fatigue warrior tool?

      March 26, 2016 at 2:34 am

Pepole are waching that card bad . its 4 demage for 5 mana .its like duble ping wach it more like rouge hero power to compare wich is not that bad at all and in late game u can heropower AND equip that wapon and deal demage over and over and u need only one in deck for me its realy realy good and will got alot of plays with slower decks and im thinking its even good tool against agro decks just u need to look it like to rouge hero power wich u can cast over and over again and u cant silence wapon can u?

  26. Kalo
    March 25, 2016 at 4:18 pm

Contructed? Huge nope. Not even for face warrior (5 mana for 4 dmg? Get out of here…).
    Arena? Probably nope also.
I think this should cost 4. Probably wouldn’t be good enough for constructed even that way, but would be an average-above average arena card.

    March 25, 2016 at 3:43 pm

Blizzard should buy brains “for head”, to make them know, that they make trash designed cards like this!
This is the biggest Bullshit I have ever seen, even noobz know how BAD this card is.
Unfortunately Blizzard Developers are not noobz, they are WORSE.

    Maybe I’m overreacting….

    • Ermino
      March 25, 2016 at 4:05 pm

Ok im sorry for posting this. I only wanted to say that control warriors could need a new deaths bite, but this is just as bad as a poisoned blade because its overcosted. Maybe it would be overpowered if it had lower cost. But a 2 attack weapon is just a bit to weak to attack most minions, especially if it is played on turn 5! Doomhammer is also a 5 mana Weapon wich has a ridicules effect and stats. It just overshines in comparison. If it would get buffed by spells then it might be exellent but there are not enough out there yet. Sorry Blizzard :/

    March 25, 2016 at 3:39 pm

very bad card, like really bad, but if they made it any better it would be far to good over headcrack, which never gets played. cards that always come back just almost always cost to much to be worth it

  30. HiveMind
    March 25, 2016 at 3:30 pm

Unfortunately, this cards is just awful. Maybe with 3-4 Attack it could be good.

    • Nightfall
      March 25, 2016 at 3:37 pm

4 would be to strong I would see 4 mana 2/2 or 5 mana 3/2 still being bad, so this wont ever work, NEVER

  31. CleverName
    March 25, 2016 at 3:25 pm

Infinite value, but at that point in the game it can only really go face and trade with smaller minions. I doubt this will see play in constructed.

  32. Nightfall
    March 25, 2016 at 3:23 pm

nope, not good enough, far from good enough

  33. Vtguy88
    March 25, 2016 at 3:23 pm

Seems a little overcosted to me. Comparing it to War Axe, is losing an attack plus it’s ability worth 5 mana? If you figure over the course of a game this will be used 2-3 times when you don’t have another weapon, you’re essentially drawing the equivalent of 1-2 cards, but spending 10-15 mana to use it.

Long story short, it will help against aggro, but still super slow. We’ll see where it fits in the new meta.

    • Nightfall
      March 25, 2016 at 3:36 pm

helps against aggro? no its far to late if you need to use THIS against aggro

      • Vtguy88
        March 25, 2016 at 5:39 pm

I more meant in theory. You’re right, in actuality is kind of too slow, furthermore lending to the idea that it’s over costed.

Maybe control mirrors? Maybe it’s just meant for Arena.

        • Ohumak
          March 29, 2016 at 6:39 am

Arena is all about tempo and this card is very bad as tempo card. I think this is playable only when fatique and then its just okay, not good. And in arena games almost never are that long. I wil put this card in my deck only if I have no other choice.
