    Not so special about a 4 mana cost to cast 2 Hunter Secrets if lucky, when the actual cost of 2 Hunter secrets is exactly... FOUR. luckily it cast from deck. So, another secret tutor for secret hunter.

    But maybe Face Hunter would love this, Hit face for 3, and cast Fire trap from deck, another 2 damage. 5 damage for 4 mana is..... something.

    another good card for trap, so maybe Hero Tavish have synergie with them. but all of that is useless without good trap to have a chance against dh,rogue,warlock,mozaki etc..

    I mean it's cool we get to draw and pull so many Secrets from the deck, but uhhhhh where are the Secrets?

    Hate to see secrets pushed. Facing counterspells, paladin one that summons taunt, etc. All limit fun

    Assuming you never draw a single secret, between this and the Bunker card, you'd need at LEAST 10 secrets in your deck. That's 1/3 of your deck... Tavish's hero card better have some serious secret synergy.

    Spring the Trap is very comparable to Flanking Strike. Instead of a 3/3 body no matter what, you get one or two secrets. I think you really need to trigger Honorable Kill consistently to justify running this card.

      Flanking Strike was a better card. I prefer to have a 3/3 beast on board as a hunter. Don't understand the high rating (4,5) from users so far.

      Tavish alterac - Secrets, most likely. And I'm betting on a new secret that triggers on spells.

    this has some anti synergy with the 2 mana bunker card that draws 3 secrets (
    Dun Baldar Bunker)
    so in order to add 2 copies of both cards to the deck - you need to include so many secrets in deck... i think its mediocre.

    This card is pretty similar to flanking strike. And I like that you get to cast at least 1 secret from your deck, instead of slapping that part on a honorable kill effect.

    I think that Spring the Trap is even considered strong enough for competitive play. A whole bunch of minions are around 3 health anyways, even some of the more mid-range minions are around 3-5 mana even. And Hunter just gained Ice Trap which is a very solid Secret to have. Out of all the Flanking Strikes that Hunter seems to have, this one seems to be the most risk-reward of them all, and the risk isn't even that high. It's more Reward than Risk. The only other Risk is how many secrets you have remained in your deck to cut out.
