2 more mana for +2/1 is not a good deal. especially when it’s still only got 2 hp.
now compare it to gnomish inventor. death rattle worse than battle cry. 4/2 generally worse than 2/4.
I think the closest comparison is to a Cult Master without the ability to string a lot of draws. Which means it will be…okay. In some situations, it seems better than Gnomish Inventor, such as in a more aggressive combo-style deck where you want the 4-attack but also are looking to draw into something. Might find a place in some Rogue decks, maybe? That is likely one of the only places it might show up, otherwise it’s just one of the mid-low tier cards that are just around.
Now with N’Zoth being revealed, this card makes a lot more sense. It isn’t bad at 4 and then can come back free of charge? That definitely seems worth trying!
Why do people compare this to loot hoarder? This is like gnomish inventor, reversed stats (arguably worse), deathrattle instead of battlecry (definitely worse).
This is a nope for constructed, ok for arena I guess.
