Solid card and I’ll be running it in my Embiggen Druid deck.

By the numbers Heroic Innkeeper has the lowest potential roll (8 mana for a 4/4 taunt) but it’s Battlecry albeit situational since it doesn’t become worth it’s cost unless you have at least two other minions (8 mana 8/8 taunt with two minions) makes up for that kind of. Embiggen Druid having two minions is sometimes enough to put a lot of pressure on the opponent. That extra body can help but may just be overkill. In my opinion the overall worst roll would be Octosari because the Deathrattle can easily do more harm than good either via overdrawing and causing you to lose valuable threats or putting you into fatigue or potentially both.

It remains to be seen exactly how good, on average, the 8-drop pool will be following rotation and the release of this set. But as long as it isn’t abysmal, this seems pretty solid.

First glance it looks like a good card that gives you a playable minion next turn so I’ll do a favor and list the 8 costs you would want.

Ironbark Protector, Al’Akir the Windlord, Grommash Hellscream, can’t go wrong with Gruul, the new Natalie Seline, Turion Fordring, Catrina Muerte, maybe a batterhead, Fel Lord Betrug is a maybe, Lucentbark is good if have heals, Walking fountain very nice, you might want pit crocolisk, Tomb Warden can help with stalling, and the Tortillan Pilgrim is iffy, Deathwing mad aspect good board clearer, Murozond the infinite good value, have a Mana giant for an 8/8, Zzeraku the Warped isn’t to bad either, Hulking Overfiend a new improved batterhead dmg wise.

I actually just listed almost every 8 cost minion that will be in standard so overall it’s a nice card that can give a decent card with currently not much in the low-ball area.

Value and board impact, together at last. We’ll need to see what other Beast synergies get printed for Druid – I don’t think this finds a home without support. This looks best in combo with Strength in Numbers, but the dragon package is just too good in that deck and it honestly doesn’t need the value (who needs card generation when you only play one minion per turn?)

3.5/5 will mostly just give you just one 8 cost minion and that card can be everything from tomb warden to hireek the bat + other new minions this expac. Too random to be great but it`s not bad either.

Hireek rotates, but helps generate decent tempo, there are still reasonable 8 drops in standard when this drops.

As if a 7 mana 7/7 with rush was bad enough.

    Anyways, 5 stars.

Descent, but not great. Siamat is much better removal at turn 7.
