Once an upon a time, we once had Free from Amber that people didn’t believe in at first glance, but at the time went it, it had become more and more common that Priest used it, especially with Dragon Priest.
And Now Idol of Y’Sharrj is here. Will Time Repeat itself or have they learned their history.

Great, another wild rez priest card sigh
It is this type of card that makes me think about dismissing the shaman class designer games as soon as possible and gives the place for the person responsible for this incredible card !!
That’s mean.
8 mana 10/10 is lots of stats even by itself. But if you manage to hit a minion with even slightly strong ability, this is actually very strong. Especially if the card you hit is Vargoth
Considering priest is able to lower spell costs fairly easily now this card is actually very scary.
I dare say 5 stars. My hate for Priest knows where this is going…
Right, without spell lowering it would have been a mjeee, card, and maybe only good for some very specific set up, but yeah maybe it can be useful now. 🙂
i guess the trick is:
Its a Spell and it has synergy with the new Spellpriest Archtype, so you can reduce its cost and play it earlier in the game
and btw it has great synergy with High Abbas Alura, summon a 10/10 whatever on Turn 4 with coin is nuts

Yeah. but you’d have to get very lucky, or run no priest spells
