3 mana(+2) for a worse light’s justice(1mana)? Needs a freeze effect prior and me to take damage to destroy a minion? This card is 2 times worse than purify. It’s on Tentacles for Arms level of bad.
Will only see play if a card with a text like “whenever you atk with ur weapon freeze all enemies and do 1 damage to all minions”

This card depends heavily on what other cards will be revealed for Shaman that have Freeze effects. If Shaman gets a lot of Freeze cards, and freeze cards that, more importantly, are good enough to run, then maybe this card will see play. Until then, I’m withholding giving a star rating because this one hinges heavily on the other unrevealed cards as to whether or not it itself is good.
We don´t know the hero power of Deathknight Thrall, but I suspect a connection here.
In WoW deathknights are of three types; Profane, Blood and Frost. Rexxar, the only revealed one is clearly profane (from the look and the undead pet). I guess Thrall will be a frost one.
If Shaman gets their personal Water Elemental then this will become powerful VERY quick, like a 2cost 1/4 that freezes anything it deals dmg
This looks like it could have some really great potential
With current cards, this weapon is just average, not bad at all (there are like 2 o 3 tools to freeze minions).
However more cards need to be revealed in order to put this card in 4 o 5 stars.
Shaman card which means you have to use frost shock as of now it’s the only natural freeze card for shaman else you’d have to resort to playing shitty cards with freeze probably not playable.
3/10 Tiny bit of potential if new cards are released
Well elemental shaman could just use glacial shard with this card and get 1 or 2 guranteed kills and maybe 1-2 pings depending on the deck and draws. I think it is gonna be quite good since shaman still has nice healing options.
You forget that this is literally the first Shaman card to be revealed. Like Jades in Gadgetzan and Elementals in Un’Goro, Freeze is going to be the theme for Shaman, it seems. Probably going to be a lot of freeze synergy for neutral, mage, shaman, and one other class, because they seem to like these
3-class themes.

Yeah, I’m actually kind of upset that they didn’t. This would be pretty great as a Mage card.
Only thing this card hints at is that shaman might get a frost nova effect, which means control shaman might have a frost nova doomsayer option coming.
The wording “all frozen” makes me wonder if shaman is going to get some sort of blade flurry effect.
The card alone is not OP, but very interesting

So, while it might not seem like much, this card has potential, and a lot of it.
Yes, as it currently stands, shaman cards with freeze are subpar. And besides Glacial Shroud there’s little else that could be played with this card.
But! Should shaman get access to a couple of good freezing effects, this card could go from unplayable to quite good very fast. Imagine having this equipped in a control deck with decent freezing cards – even stuff like Glacial Shrad upgrades to an Assasinate plus a 1-drop. Ofc weapon removals are a thing, but then again, everything is supposed to have a counter.
On the other hand, I wish this card was for Mages (seriously) 🙂

Dont rate this card to quick guys, until we have seen all the cards you cant say if this will be bad or good. It can potentialy clear 3 minions for 3 mana. (well not counting the cost of all the freeze effects ….)
But for example glacial shard is a strong card by itself. So with more freeze cards that are good by themself, this might see play.
heck yeah, three shatters in one card for shaman
Shatter was already bad for mage with a lot of spells (not to mention 0 mana freeze spell). Now we’ve got this card for a class that has less freeze spells/minions to make this card work..
Glacial Shard will work good with this, the 1cost 2/1 elemental – freeze a target
Really, really good card. Even if they don’t give Shaman a ton of freezing support this particular expansion, this is the card that’s going to keep getting better and better with time.
Heavy Control Shaman Incoming , shaman already has frost shock to freeze enemies and probably more aoe frost cards incoming!
