I have a feeling this was originally something like “invoke galakrond” was but was then changed because they couldn’t have something like that be randomly generated in non-galakrond classes so they just changed it to something on theme with the set instead of thinking about synergies.
Easily the worst lackey card, all lackey classes that use them (rogue, shaman, and warlock) aren’t looking for giant things like dragons
You’re forgetting this expansion will bring every class but warlock (maybe even warlock though) a dragon based deck. This is the perfect card to make lackeys work in dragon decks ( it also makes rogue galakrond way stronger), so it at least makes dragon shaman and rogue (more) viable, and who knows, maybe dragon warlock will be a thing…
Warlock I could see having dragon synergies. Rogue? Not so much. This meta is so fast right now that rogue simply can’t afford expensive stuff like dragons
So, this is how they want to nerf quest shaman… Ok, but evolve won’t be in standard anymore when this lackey comes in so no need for this lackey to happen… on the other hand I like the value this lackey can give you, even in rouge.
