But bolster isn’t in standard and if you do protect the king you were probobly losing and will continue to since buffing the pawns is not viable or even posible anymore, and in the best case its a 16-16 that you opponent can use hard removal on or the 7 minions to trade with or just go face since you clearly were not playing right to get the board like that.
In agro its to costly and inconsistent, why play this over naga when this is high cost for a dice roll of stats and has no synergy.
If enrage works this may still not be included because of its inconsistency.
And control has no eyes for this since you actively destroy the board with brawls.
All this guy is is a nerd to fire lands.

People realize its not friendly minions but ALL minions right? so if you want to think of it one way, if your opponent as 1 minion and you have two and all of those minions are damaged, this is a 6/6 for 5.

any more than that kind of board out there and you’re making bank. I’ll give it a shot as a one of. It can never replace Direhorn Hatchling though.

You don’t see token decks running frostwolf warlord.
And this is worse in every way for a control/tempo warrior. Will never ever see play.

    EEEVERYONE! GET IN HERE!

How many damaged minions would be worth the price? I’d say 3. 5-mana 6/6 is decent. There has to be something said about this and Brann in Wild though; Giant, Giant, Brann, Whirlwind, Revenant for a 9/9. Decent, and only costs 8 mana and Giant setup.

I find the artwork on this card misleading and quite simply inaccurate. They make a revenant look ethereal when it is most often more like a zombie. Here they almost make it look elemental in nature which is very far off from what a true revenant would be like. A revenant is “like” a ghost in the sense that it is an undead being. But, revenants are much more than mere ethereal ghosts, they are reanimated corpses. Like I said, more closer to a zombie than a ghost. Here he’s got his ethereal scythe and everything! It should really more resemble a zombie imo. I am surprised that Blizzard has not developed a Zombie type-card yet. And, add that Necromancer Hero class that needs to be out there, also!

Except WarCraft Revenants have looked that way since before WarCraft 3 was released. This look was what was originally intended for the Death Knight Hero in WarCraft 3, but they went for what is now the familiar Death Knight appearance and repurposed this ethereal look for neutral Revenants, which often had elemental associations.

It’s interesting. I don’t think Warrior will use it, but it’s really cool card design and synergizes nicely with all the whirlwind effects that Warrior is getting. It sounds really appealing to get a 5 mana 8/8, 10/10, 13/13, 16/16, whatever, but for this card to be worth it at all, you need at least five hurt minions on the board. That’s not exactly super hard to pull off (just using your own board), but I’m not sure it’ll be good enough to warrent all that setup. It’s a combo card with kind of a lackluster payoff, especially when it might just get Hex’d, or Polymorphed, or silenced. So… card is probably bad. Also bad in Arena.

since when was 5 mana 6/6 not decent, or a 5 mana 7/7 not great. not even like getting 4 damaged minions on the board requires a lot (if any) setup. sure it can be hexed or death, but if that’s your reason for not playing a card then you shouldn’t play any minions in your deck. this is a card that can gain a lot of value from doing things you’re going to be doing anyways (IE using the last charge of your weapon, the new hero power or even playing minions) agree that it’ll likely be bad in arena

I never said those bodies weren’t good. I even said it was appealing. It… it just isn’t realistic to consistently get those kinds of bodies in my opinion, which is the real problem. If you’re forced to sit on this card for half of the game, it’s a problem. It’s an absolutely trash topdeck, and in some games where the board is being consistently controlled, there will just never be a good time to play this thing. I just don’t think the payoff of one big body is enough to justify the restriction; that was the point of bringing up Hex and Polymorph, because unlike just playing a big minion that gets hexed, in this case, what’s getting hexed isn’t just a big minion, but your reward for your combo. If one card cancels out the biggest reward of a combo… it probably wasn’t a very good combo.

An interesting interaction I see is playing this with animated berserker on board, making it get +1/+1 from itself, still would take more good it to actually be good. Maybe playing this into a whirlwind effect would make it better but we’ll see.
