There is probably a critical mass of face damage elementals you can print before elemental shaman becomes secret mage v2 in wild.

im betting theirs a otk in wild quest shaman for this
using fire plume harbinger to reduce the cost of this

I can give you 20 dmg right now. Quest shammy fireplume with or without quest depending if have one or both in hand then 10 Mana zap hero power and blast both to face for 20. Same basic principles to the otk pally just need them down 10 health to finish them.

quest fireplume twice into 2 of these and grumble
this will be 1 grumble 2
9 mana after overload 1 preivious turn
        quest summon this deal 10
        6 left
        next 1 5 left
        summon grumble
        4 left
summon these again for 40 damage

so can safely overload up to 3 mana

Well 6 card 1 turn combo grumble plus 2 of these in hand HP fireplume, fireplume, this to face, this to face, grumble, this to face thats 30 dmg leaving 1 Mana left over so you can use any 0 cost or 1 cost overload or overload 1 Mana turn before.

These kind of cards are what give me hope and fear (at the same time) for Shaman. So much Damage!
And very easy conditions, good statline, and a it of balance. Solid shaman card.
    5/5

Honestly, they give me more hope than fear. As a fellow Rogue advocate, Shaman in the current meta has been a matchup I am particularly not fond of because of aggro Quest Shaman that I very often lose against. To me, they don’t need to get stronger. As Rogues, we got some good cards this expansion too, but I don’t think we got a removal with that much power that’s not a legendary (though we did get a good removal !)
Anyway, my point is : not excited to face it. But good news for Shaman mains I suppose.

So what your saying is quest shaman can now smash you in the face with a 7 Mana pyroblast on a 5/5 stick. That sucks and quest shaman typically runs a few overload cards or can generate them from Lackeys and other minions. You’ll basically see this run in every single quest shaman deck. And we may see a return of overload shaman.

Well realistically he can only do that on turn 8, he has to have an overloaded mana crystal. Or combo it with say, a sludge slurper/lightning bolt, The shaman could do it on 7, with a Zapp on the same turn, but it seems like it will get played on later turns. (although it’s pretty strong with Zapp)

That’s basically why brought up it can be done as early as turn 7 but because it only requires overloaded Mana at 8+ Mana this is lethal since you could spend 2 turns nuking face for 20 dmg. Add in cards like life drinker that could steal 6 health and your getting a ridiculous card.

Still haven’t seen galakrond for shaman but this card heavily favors quest shammy.

So basically put, Imagine a Blazecaller but for Overloading instead of playing an elemental last turn, and a few tweaks here and there like Blazecaller giving you +1/+1 in stats but cost 2 more. We saw how power Blazecaller was with Elemental Mage and Elemental Shudderwock Shaman? I could be wrong with that one though. And yeah, you could argue that there are a few minions out there that are 4 mana 2/6 so it doesn’t quite kill, but after that, there are also a lot of 5 Mana bodies out there with 5/5. So It’s a near Guarantee Respond to any Early-Mid game minion out there. And what’s better is that much like Blazecaller, this also deals the same 5 damage in general for you, so it doesn’t have to be an answer against minions. You can just use it to gain pressure against your opponent or even finishing him or her off. So yeah, I think that this a new minion that Shamans from probably all-around want. It’s even pretty good with aggro Shaman, even though you need to play around a bit to try and focus a little bit more with a bit fewer aggro minions. So yeah, a pretty solid 5 stars with no excitement from making it go any more up. It’s a very solid and strong minion.
