Again, dragon warlock seems to be actually viable. Sadly doesn’t work as well in arena because of conditioning but this is still amazing. 5/5 especially since it’s a dragon that helps add to the minion pool

Hellfire on a stick, or Duskbreaker with better stats. Seems incredibly powerful provided that there are enough dragons to prop up a slower warlock deck.

I always thought Duskbreaker was OP and needed a nerf. Adding a 3/3 body to a Hellfire was too much IMO. Here you pay 1 extra mana and get a 5/5. Sure, you need dragons, so what? If a Dragon Warlock exists, this will be one of the OP cards in that deck. Just like we had in Dragon Priests in the previous rotation.

For a hellfire on a 5/5 stick that technically cost 1 Mana you can bet warlock will find a way to use it. Handlock usually ran 2 dragons minimum but that costs 4 and would likely get played so need more of course then there’s possibly the discover a dragon cards that replace self which supports handlocks goal.

Obviously really good, but Warlock may not receive enough drake support for this to be consistent.

This is a lot stronger than Duskbreaker but Warlock is going to need some serious dragon support for this to work. But i’m happy they are not ignoring slower warlock decks. I was disappointed with the fact that Warlock’s Galakrond is just another Zoo card but there’s hope for Control Warlock now.

Hellfire deals 3 damage to all characters for 4 mana… This is a 5 mana hellfire with 5/5 body attached to it. Given how Warlock isn’t the best at ‘hand’ling dragons the condition may or may not be easy to achieve, the card itself being a dragon helps for sure. Easy 5 stars if we get decent pool of dragons Warlock is comfortable using.

    A dragon handlock maybe?

Not really great for Warlock. what he needs is a lot of small minions since his Galakrond is a Zoo type.
Adding a 5 mana Dragon would just ruin the Zoo Galakrond builds.
Go ahead and change my mind…

They almost never push only one archetype in the expansion and this is obviously not ment for Galakrond or Zoo decks. Slower warlock archetypes however, would be really happy to include it. Warlock was already playing Twiligh Drake. Add in a few more dragons and both of new cards can shine. I see it being played in some kind of dragon handlock or control warlock with dragon package.

true enough, his galakrond doesn’t have to include dragons, because aside from zoo, his battlecry is summoning demons.

But even if they gave a few more dragons for warlock class, it just not enough for dragon warlock to exist.
that’s my opinion anyway. but we’ll see anyway.

Nice value, But, This does not work with any of the other DoD warlock cards. Also it needs at least, say, 3 more dragons to work. But I believe it will see play.

Was hoping to see some control warlock tools this expansion. And both dragon support cards are quite satisfying so far. This card in particular is crazy strong. Hellfire on steroids, where it costs you one extra mana for 5/5 body. Duskbreaker was one of the strongest cards ever printed, costing 1 mana less, but also being only 3/3 body.
Hopefully, warlock’s dragon (perhaps also the other legendary) will support slow warlock as well.
On the side note, I really love the artwork. The dragon sweeping everything with it’s tail looks super cool.
