FINAL UPDATE: The new mode is going to be Tavern Brawl!
Update: According to Blizzard’s German social media account there are no plans for Co-op Mode! So this likely points to some kind of Tournament mode coming for Hearthstone!

It looks like something big is on the horizon for Hearthstone. First we got the announcement of a new Alternate Hero Skin, and now we’ve gotten teased with this from the Hearthstone social media accounts:

Now for speculation! There’s two likely possibilities: Tournament Mode or 2 vs. 2 Mode. I think it really depends on where Blizzard wants Hearthstone to go. If they want to encourage the esport more heavily then they will go for a Tournament Mode. If they continue to want to make the game more casual and fun then they will go with the 2 vs. 2 mode. Whatever it is, it’s likely going to be announced at E3, June 16th – 18th!
