There can be only one, but in this card there can be two… Death’s Bite. It’s looking like players are deciding that having 2-of an extremely good card in these Reno Jackson decks is the way to go. This is especially the case if you aggressively mulligan for it. So far the decks are looking fairly strong, but we’ll see which class ends up with the best version of it.

Dragon Priest slaughters me every time. but ive been pretty successful against other decks…. rush decks it just comes down to drawing into Reno or Brawl to win.

1-19 with this deck after 20 matches, it’s garbage.

1-14 now, I’m either extremely unlucky on the matchups or this deck is garbage right now. I think I lost to 3 hand locks and 4 secret paladins, and everything else has just been an aggro deck of some sort. Only win was against a basic aggro warrior so far.

I must be the unluckiest person, or this deck is not good anymore with all of the rush/aggro happening. 0-9 start, I’m giving it to 20 to be worthwhile.

0-13 now. Taking a break, but will go back to warrior and try it to 20.

I’d consider another deck, that’s probably one too many cards to replace.

I found this deck very useful after I swapped:
useless for me Gadgetzan Jouster to Revenge (saved my azz many times)
    Loatheb to Justicar Trueheart

A suitable replacement for Baron Geddon ?

    i made a couple tweaks….

    subbed out
    Gadgetzan for Iron Beak
    and Baron Geddon for Alexstrasza

you kinda need silence in this meta….
ive never been a fan of Baron Geddon’s hard mechanic.
All control decks worth their salt use Alexstrasza
she’s a big body and can help health-adjust in the late game.
especially if your opponent has dropped a Reno as well

lol i get more rage-quits with this deck than i did with the Patron decks.

they sit there and beat you to a pulp…then you drop Reno.. and even at 25 health they just rage quit.

even against other control decks Reno Jackson just lets you outlast people.

    so much fun.

    it’s the ultimate control deck

Making the deck all “1-of-a-card” is a bit unnecessary in my opinion. As a Control Warrior you usually do not lose a lot of health, you just gather tons of armor. I see Reno Jackson fitting in Control Warrior more like a tech-card to save you from fatigue that usually happens on mirror matches or CW vs. Priest. You would not need Reno to recover you… let’s say 21 health… If you had another Shied Block, Shieldmaiden, Armorsmith and Justicar. There! A way more reliable source of health 🙂
You don’t need to make your deck all “1-of”, just use him on a late game deck, as Control Warrior, Freeze Mage or Priest, using him only when you have no more copies on your deck.

reno is just so demoralizing though… especially against aggo decks.

you’re right. This deck is lack of removals so much ( 1 execute, 1 shieldslam, huhm..), and i think this deck leads CW to fatigue faster cuz thereare so many low-value cards..

I suggest replace Emperor for Justicar, you wont get much from emperor and Justicar have a permanent effect.

If you use Death’s Bite, or one is in your hand then Reno Jackson will still work. You would likely mulligan for it or draw it by the time you need to play Reno.

I made a similar deck with a priest. Mine has quite a bit less late game. I use many battle cry cards that have synergy with bran. I’m excited for museum curator. I’ve had a lot of success with this deck. Am I allowed to post deck lists here?

Here’s my extremely experimental outlast type of sorta good priest. Please suggest subs because I’ll probably try it that way.

          Circle of Healing
          Light of the Naaru
          Power Word: Shield
          Northshire Cleric
          Sir Finley
          Shadow Word: Pain
          Echoing Ooze
          Jeweled Scarab
          Lance Carrier
          Wild Pyromancer
          Shadow Word: Death
          Valen’s Chosen
          Big Game Hunter
          Brann Bronzebeard
          Earthen Ring Farseer
          Mind Control Tech
          Saboteur
          Mind Games
          Auchenai Soul Priest
          Defender of Argus
          Tomb Spider
          Excavated Evil
          Holy Nova
          Loatheb
          Entomb
          Reno Jackson
          Baron Geddon
          Dr. Boom
          Ragnoros
          Mind Control

(Keep in mind that this is an experimental deck. I’m mostly just trying out new cards and checking out cool interactions they have with each other. I’m not that great of a deck builder either, I’m just sharing my experiments. Depending on what “The map of the Golden Monkey” does, I might put the other member of the league of explorers in in as well. I didn’t add light bomb because I don’t have it yet. It might not work that well too.)
