Beast Druid is off to an aggressive start with the release of Menagerie Warden. Firebat also finds a spot for The Curator, which will draw you some pretty nice options and even uses Sir Finley Mrrgglton to get full potential out of the three draws.

Can you cut the faerie dragons out for wraths?

Probably. The Faerie Dragons jsut don’t fit in, and Wraths look like they would improve the winrate of this deck.

What hero power are you looking for with finley ?

Warlock mostly, but Hunter, Paladin, and Mage can be useful depending on the matchup.

Is there something I could replace Mounted Raptor and Sir Finley with? Or are League of Explorers/those cards essential?

Mounted Raptor could be swapped for Argent Horserider, but obviously you lose the Beast synergy. Sir Finley is much harder to replace, you could go maybe Raven’s Idol or I’ve seen Darnassus Aspirant.

I like to put in Jungle Panther for the 3 mana beast with similar stats plus the added bonus of stealth for more likely face damage

Interesting that this deck isn’t running any copies of Wrath. I would definitely cut Faerie Dragon for it.

Fully agree. Wrath gives much more flexibility in this case. Also stated my opinion earlier in this topic, but ppl like to defend popular streamers…

It’s for the Curator synergy yo!

Yea, put some Mech in then. Azure Drake is fine combined with spells, but Faeries are way too much. There are much better alternative decks out there…

Why would he put a mech in? Curator only pulls dragons, beasts and murlocs..

Curator is a mech it self and does not justify four Dragons. Anyway my advice: – Faerie Dragon, + Wrath. Has the same effect and card draw…

Yes, but even though curator is a mech, there are barely any mech synnergies with GvG gone. The only thing that exists is Gorillabot, and that is trash in this deck. Other mechs have no synnergy. The mechs wouldn’t be drawn by curator, so there is not point putting them in.

You need curator in this deck 100%. So you need cards to pull.
The theme, spoken like a true rank 25 player 🙂

He’s right, Faerie is trash in this deck
You can run double Azure, have all those beast, and Finley and get excellent value off Curator
He doesn’t need to draw all 3 cards to be good

A decks only “theme” should be winning.

Fandral is not a good choice then? Given there is 8 Choose cards.

Bran may be also worth, to play around, yet I would include some other beasts if I where playing with it. But there are a couple of really strong effects if they are duplicated (2x Menagerie or 2x Curator is incredible).

And it is just too slow. 5 cards that provide draw? Wrath is definitely a necessity. There aren’t that many good ones to be honest. maybe River Crocolisk. It definitely requires refinement this deck.

River Crockolisk?! Are you out of your mind?!

But I see your point. Huge toad would be better, or even Jeweled scarab. Thats if you want a 2 mana beast.

I would just cut faerie dragon for wraths.

Fandral is great with Choose One spells, but it’s not quite as impressive with Choose One minions. It puts a pile of stats on the board with Druid of the Flame, but it essentially just gives charge to the stealth form of Saber and taunt form of Claw. He generates a lot more value when he’s drawing you extra cards (Raven Idol, Wrath), pumping up your spells (Wrath), or simultaneously widening your board (Living Roots, Power of the Wild, Wisps of the Old Gods) and doing something else like buffing your board (PotW, WotOG) or shooting something (Living Roots). This deck runs PotW, which is a great Fandral combo, but since this isn’t a token deck, PotW and Living Roots aren’t quite as impressive with him as in other versions, and Saber/Claw aren’t the most effective Fandral combos. If he started running Wrath, I’d consider swapping a Teacher for him (like I do in my version!).
