    A few interactions I’d like to see explained…

    Are the following effected by the Crystal Core:
    – Hero Power tokens from Sir Finley (assuming yes)
    – Tokens summoned from minions (assuming yes)
    – Tokens summoned from spells (Jade Idol from burgle mechanics + Beneath the Grounds; assuming same interaction as from minions)
    – Spell buffs from Cold Blood and others (assuming no, but could be wrong)
    – Minions ALREADY on the field (assuming yes according to wording, but could be wrong)
    – Minions brought out from the deck (Patches/Deathlord; assuming yes but could be wrong)

      In addition to his questions, I’don’t like to ask if the Edwin Van Cleaf or new Rouge 1 cost 1/1 will still gain buffs in addition to being 5/5 or will remain at now permanent base stats of 5/5?

    This makes me wonder if the buff is recurring, forcing stats to be permanently 5/5. For example, if your 5/5 swings into a minion and takes 3 damage, will it be a 5/2 or would it stay a 5/5. I think the 5/2 route is more likely, but that seems a little too weak as a reward. If they stay 5/5’s no matter what though this could be more insane than people think.

    I don’t understand why so many people think this card is bad. If you look at the class cards for rogue in the upcoming standard only one card will get a bad outcome with this card. That card is Ethereal Peddler. Also a 1 mana 5/5 is really good.

      If you had minions on your field they immediately become 5/5

      “PLAY four minions with the same name.” Assuming the same interaction as Hobgoblin, “summon” effects do not activate cards that rely on “play” effects; hence, why summoning tokens from your hero power or, say, Violet Teacher does NOT activate the Buff from Hobgoblin.

      Using this same logic, we can also assume that tokens will NOT count towards the quest. Jade Golems and Violet Teacher tokens, along with Paladin Hero Power tokens will NOT count towards completing the quest.

      Now if you Shadowstepped one of the CLONES from Doppelgangster and played it, I think it would count toward the quest as 1 minion played in addition to the 1 minion counter when playing the original Doppelgangster.

    Yes please, I would love to make my 12/12 vancleaf a 5/5 it would be amazing. (They are 5/5 on your hand or on ther board?)

      I think it would be like the BRM expansion during the one were all cards cost 1 and you had 1 mana and even if you gave yourself extra mana in would just go back to 1
