Tempo Mage is a very old archetype and a common deck choice for Mage fans. The deck has gone back and forth from sometimes being dominated by Secret synergy and then less so. This deck is largely powered by the powerful core of Mana Wyrm, Sorcerer’s Apprentice, and Frostbolt.

The Boomsday Project brought along some interesting cards to this everlasting archetype. Shooting Star acts as a potential board clear that is powered by some of the new Spell Damage synergy like Celestial Emissary and Cosmic Anomaly. It also now has Stargazer Luna which can help you draw into lethals when you are lacking Aluneth.
