Can be decent at times, and Pali secrets are always good, so no need to worry about a bad secret. Don’t combo with many things, but it definitely doesn’t make it bad. 3.5/5

I mean this is just worth two secrets basically. Random really doesn’t matter to much.

Desperate times call for Commander Rhyssa Value.

random paladin secrets are always wellcomed. 1 cost spells don’t have that big value to be swarming in a deck that is not aggro. Liam archetype is better off in control with hakkar. So we will barely see secret archetype. Even with good cards the deck does not fit the meta in any way.
I can compare this with the murloc archeologist. That was average 1 cost boddy with a discover effect. This is discovet 2 1 cost cards for the same mana but no boddy. A fair trade i may say. ALthough the murloc tag made archeologist a sweet flavoured card.

This seems like an obvious fit for Secret Paladin, but… is it? As others have already mentioned, it doesn’t benefit from Secret Synergy cards, so I can just as well see this splashed into Paladin decks that otherwise don’t play Secrets. You’d still want it to be an aggressive deck though, since that’s where Paladin Secrets work best.

Is it good enough to see play? I’m gonna go ahead and guess no. This has the advantage that it’s less likely your opponent will effortlessly play around it, since it could be any secret… but there’s a reason some Paladin secrets never see play. Because they’re pretty awful. 2/5

it just occurred to me that the 5 villain classes might not get twinspell because they’re getting callback cards

For sure. The villain classes are getting cards with callback mechanics, schemes, and lackeys; the defenders of Dalaran are getting Twinspells.

Blizzard is making all the efforts to assure Secret Paladin returns as a top tier deck…
I confess i’m not a fan of the decks that relly only on spells.

This has value even if doesn’t effect other secret based cards the fact that only 1 secret is a bad rng *Wisdom* isn’t so bad when consider for 2 slots this is 4 secrets and even if one is wisdom that’s still 3 secrets of value if wisdom isn’t triggered. Btw it looks like wisdom has a higher chance of proccing now with these cheap spells and minions being added in this expansion so paladin may be able to get by without divine favor even if not as good.

Biggest problem with this card is that it doesn’t synnergize with any other secret cards. Doesn’t buff secretkeeper or get pulled by masked contender or bellringer sentry. And can’t be drawn by Subject 9. Considering this, I don’t think the extra random secret is worth it.

Paladin is already getting two cheap twinspells (quite viable actually), insane auctioneer draw?
