Blizzard will be running a sweepstakes to win up to 3,000 packs and all you have to do is log in and complete your daily quests to enter and possibly win! Along with this they will be releasing the Year of the Mammoth card pack bundle, which is a 1-time purchasable that has 10 of each Year of the Mammoth expansion card pack in it (Journey to Un’Goro, Knights of the Frozen Throne, and Kobolds and Catacombs).
Quest for Packs Sweepstakes
Starting February 1st at 9am PST (6pm CET) and ending on February 14th at 9am PST (6pm CET) will start the Quest for Packs Sweepstakes. Each day you complete a daily quest during the promotion it will grant you one entry for a chance to win! 1 player will win 3,000 Hearthstone packs, the Lich King’s helmet, and a Hearthstone Apparel Gift Pack. That’s the grand prize, 1,000 players will win the Year of the Mammoth Card Pack Bundle, and 50,000 players will win 3 card packs (1 from each Year of the Mammoth expansion).
You are limited to ONE entry per day, so saving up your quests isn’t going to give you multiple entries when the sweepstakes start. You have a maximum of fourteen entries per Battle.net account.

What if i complete a quest that is almost done since yesterday. Will it still count?
I have completed my daily quest between 14:00 and 16:00, now I’ve logged into Hearthstone and a pop-up of mission and packs appeared and it also said “No more daily quest for today”.
Did it count even if the advice came up later?
Whenever the official Blizzard post that is local to your area says the event started should be the correct time. I would double check that to see if you got an entry today.
How to check how many tickest I have?
There’s no way to check as far as I know, just do a daily quest each day until the 14th and you should be entered 14 times.

What will happen if I purchase the mammoth bundle when it comes out then win the monoth bundle again. Will I get 2 bundle or would I get a refund on th first.

You just have to complete a daily quest for a single entry. It runs for 14 days, so you can get 14 entries if you complete a quest each day.

3,000 packs for the winner?!?! Why not just give them a complete set and a bunch of dust?
There is no shortcut to opening multiple packs. If it takes one 20 seconds to open a pack, that means it would take 15+ hours of mindless clicking to open all these packs. Once you’ve hit your 20th Ultrasaur, I imagine this could get tedious.

Yes, screw that… who needs 3000 packs? People will take too long to open them, just reduce the number of packs, please…
Speaking for me, I really enjoy opening packs, my favorite time in HS. So, I don’t mind if they flood my account with countless packs to open. Bring them. Anyone else getting tedious? Just pass’em over to me.

Well, nothing says you have to open them all at once. You could entertain yourself for weeks, opening 100 or so per night! 🙂
