Eleven New Cards Releasing in The Menagerie (Wing 3) – One Night in Karazhan

Here’s a list of the cards you will be unlocking in The Menagerie (3rd Wing) this week! Also, I’ve included the future guides for these wings with a bit of information on what you’ll be facing.

Menagerie Warden was generally looked at as the best card in the set, and could finally enable a strong Beast Druid deck. Purify was much maligned, and due to community outrage the card will not be showing up in Arena for Priest. We’ll see which cards make a splash this week!

Which cards do you think will make the biggest impact? Tell us in the comments below!

O think only warden, templar and book will see play. The other ones or too clunky.

Well…I paragraphs that got deleted… The fools bane sucks horrible ass, and I’m scared of the Cuator, the menagerie magician, and the zoobat. I see gross, annoying decks of murlocs, beast, and dragons that may or may not work. I like the warden. Make the Druid Class Legend in the next set a beast, give us a few cards, viable druid beast. I’d love that. I’ve got a feral druid on WoW from Launch day 2004.

I’m most excited for the Curator and his minions personally. Drawing 2 cards is a very powerful effect and was the main reason why pre-nerf ancient of lore was played. Curator can possibly draw you 3 cards (though I suspect most decks will only run 2 tribes) and you can control what cards he draws. Other than sense demons and mad scientist (sort of) this is the first card that lets you control what you are able to draw.

The Curator’s minions (Zoobot and the Magician) also look like fun though I doubt they are going to be that consistent or powerful. The thing I love about these three cards is they combine deck archetypes. In previous expansions we’ve seen Blizzard buff old archetypes or introduce new ones (Old Gods especially) but these cards are Blizzard’s attempt at combining deck archetypes. For example, what if they released a minion with strong stats that buffed C’Thun as his deathrattle? It would make a C’Thun/N’Zoth deck more viable. While these cards look fun, I’m more excited for what Blizzard will do next with this combining archetype design.
