Has no one thought to put morose in this deck? Great synergy with councilman and knife juggler.

Replaced darkshire librarian with forbidden ritual and seems to work better

Honestly there’s no reason to not be running devilsaur egg and void terror in this deck. I would take out argent squire and darkshire librarian for them. Forbidden ritual should also be in here because of knife juggler and councilman, but this deck is so strong right now it’s hard to find room. Maybe trade out defender of argus for it since pterrordax seems to be the stronger 4-drop.

Actually, I take that back. Pterrordax replaces void terror because it plays on curve w/ devilsaur egg and because I think you need the taunts from defender against token/murloc decks right now. Forbidden ritual is still good but I don’t find myself having enough board space to utilize it very often.

is it a good idea to swap “darkshire librarians” with “succubus” ?

Probably only if you run Demon Fire.

I don’t understand why you just don’t add the Quest and the New legendary instead of Ravasaur’s ?? What’s the point of not adding them ?

The quest is tough to pull off. Been trying.

I played with the Quest myself and found it pretty bad. The new Legendary could be potentially useful, but it’s not necessary.

I agree with Mr Simoes, the quest is actually pretty tough to pull of. And of the 3 times I’ve actually completed the quest I only played the portal card once and by that time I had actually already won the game. I just wanted to play it to feel good about my efforts. In truth, the classic Zoo archetype is better than going after the quest.

I play this with following changes:

    – 1 darkshire librarian (Not a key card)
    – 1 ravasaur runt (Bad to have 2 in begining hand, though 1 is really good)
    – 2 argent squire (Good minion, but the worst i could cut for this build)

+2 Devilsaur egg (So F Good, great synergy with Ravenous pterrordax)
+2 Abusive sergeant (Very important to make good trades, helps the egg too)

I am currently crushing rhouge quest, mid hunter, quest hunter, taunt warrior, and pirates. 50/50 against paladin and druid
Bad matchups is all kind of shaman, too hard to beat

these replacements are crushing it for me. good calls.

I also added one crazed alchemist. Good against mages/ taunts and with abusive sergeant

I don’t see why everyone considers Devilsaur Egg to be Christ’s second coming. I honestly find it such a clunky card, barely usable. It gives you a mediocre minion and usually the process of having an attack-capable Devilsaur takes two whole turns! It’s just too slow and way too situational.

On the contrary, I find Librarian to be the most valuable minion on the early game. I could go as far as to say she’s the best early minion on the deck, just because of how amazingly well she synergizes with Malchezar’s Imp and any card that’s a target for discard (Zava, Golem). The best possible openning for me personally, would be Malchezar’s Imp and Darkshire Librarian. ESPECIALLY with the coin.

I do admit that the Quest is difficult to pull off and doesn’t reward you well enough. But I found it crucial to beat Taunt Warriors. They can’t handle my aggro and by the time I run out of steam (and cards in my hand), these beautiful imps work both as a constant board presence and a possible target for Sulfuras “DIE. INSECT.” hero power.
Plus, I don’t mind sucrificing one or two for a good Pterodax.

Having some trouble with the taunt warrior. Any suggestions? I realize you need to flood the board early and often without too much by playing into brawl. Even so I can’t seem to get past this deck and had to add a silencer that I didn’t want to add. But figured it would help with shaman control decks and a silence in general isn’t bad to have on a deck

Replaced Malchezaar’s Imp with Blood Imp as a budget choice.

You cant play discardlock without malchezaar’s imp this card is so important for this deck.
Go play some other deck untill finish adventure

While I wouldn’t have phrased it quite as bluntly as Faust, Malchezaar’s Imp is fairly important to the deck. The draw mechanic is pretty key. There are also probably cards that are better than blood imp. Demonfire for example works well with the deck and can be used as removal.
