2K18 Mill Rogue is back boyz. I’ve been testing new Rogue weapon card Kingsbane the last days and hadn’t been impressed, till I came up with this idea.

So, usually with this deck every game goes through 3 phases:

1st phase: Stay alive! There is no way you win a game if your opponent kills you first, right? At the earlier stage of the game, if your opponent plays an aggro deck, try your best to clear the board and take as less damage as you can. There are always ways to gain life back, but it’s very important you manage to stay alive! Even Valeera the Hollow can buy you a turn.

2nd phase: Buff your Kingsbane. Try to draw your weapon and buff it as much as you can. You run 2x Deadly Poison  and 2x Tinker's Sharpsword Oil to do it. Sometimes you can even use Valeera the Hollow to buff it twice. You also run 2x Leeching Poison to help you stabilise. You can’t imagine how it feels when you hit your opponent’s face for 9 or 11 and at the same time you heal yourself that much, getting out of dangerous range.

-Also, there is plenty of draw in this deck. You only run 6 minions, so Elven Minstrel will almost always guarantee that you’ll draw the card you are specifically looking for. Coldlight Oracle is your other way to draw cards (and mill your opponent). Try to use Shadowstep on it and draw again till you go through your entire deck.

(Use Cavern Shinyfinder before Coldlight Oracle)

3rd phase: Face is the place! When you reach that point and your weapon looks like a super-buffed Arcanite Reaper, try to use it to go face. 3 hits are usually enough!

-Keep Sap in hand for annoying taunts.

Vanish: This card is nuts in this deck! You can easily just clear the board by returning every minion to it’s owner’s hand. And, of course, It lets you attack directly to your opponent’s face!

After all, I believe this is not the best deck out there. It performs insanely well against control decks I’ve played against (Raza Priest, Control Warlock, Cubelock) but aggro decks are usually a bad matchup.
Though, it’s really fun to play and you should absolutely give it a try.

RIP Control

for me personally, I experience a tonne of games where I don’t draw my leeching bc I’m unlucky as shit so two for me works. When I’ve already used one leeching I kinda just use the other one as an activator for combo (in this case for oil and for minstrel). There are obviously better choices for that last spot instead of leeching but it does work
