Vanguard Grub Paladin

This deck is pretty simply built around the synergy of Silver Vanguard with drawing out 8-cost minions for an extra +3/+3 without derailing the Battlecry of those 8-cost minions. There is a lot of synergy here, with cards that resummon minions being particularly great when used in combo with the Violet Wurm or Tirion.

Barnes’ main job is to attempt to bring out minions such as Lich King, Tirion, or Violet Wurm in order to swing the game early to your advantage.

Stonehill Defender is used to help keep board control, while getting another minion able to be used.

All of the secrets used in this deck are used to resummon minions such as Violet Wurm or Tirion, with Getaway Kodo helping to bring useful Combo Cards back to your hand.

All buff cards, such as Spikeridged Steed, Boisterous Bard and Dire Wolf Alpha are great cards to use to buff up the Grubs you receive from your Violet Wurm.

I really noticed some strong synergy when it came to Silver Vanguard and wanted to take advantage of the Combo ability. While this deck is relatively new, Combo Paladin has never necessarily been a horrible deck, so I believe this deck has some potential. This is only a rough draft…….
