Tommy J generously allowed us to host his decks and guides using (mostly) Basic cards to take down One Night in Karazhan Heroic bosses. Be sure to check out his YouTube Channel.

The Curator is a bit RNG based, as his summon a Beast/Murloc/Mech cards can summon literally any minion of those types within the game. Since he can effectively get out an 8-10 mana card on turn 2, it’s possible you’ll just lose outright. However, it’s also possible that he will summon the worst and cheapest things possible, so don’t be disheartened if you find yourself having a bad luck streak.

The general strategy with this boss is to get as many minions as you can on the board to deal damage, while dealing with any minions that may appear using spells.

One big thing to keep in mind is that you cannot clear your own board by running your minions into his own, since the boss itself has Taunt. This means that if you flood your board with weaker minions there’s a chance they will never die and make way for stronger ones.

Mulligan

Babbling Book, Kobold Geomancer, any early spell would be a great starting hand.

Cards to Add

Animated Armor is great because you’ll take a lot less damage, Cone of Cold allows for more control, as does Blizzard. Flamewaker has some amazing synergy due to the large number of spells in the deck, and Taunts such as Abomination will help with getting back board control if you’ve lost it.

Cards to Remove

The Shattered Sun Cleric brings very little to this deck, as does the Gurubashi Berserker in comparison to the other cards since the only real way it will take damage is from your own hero power.
