I have been running a version of this with some success on ladder for awhile.

Doomcaller is almost useless because of all the Hex effects. The deck blows mage, which is everywhere, out of the water because of all the armor gain. C’thun himself is for relevant as a board clear against all the scumbags than anything else.

I don’t have Elise so I had to find other ways to get enough value to win the late game against control. I have 2 Stonehills, and 2 Direhorn Hatchlings and they manage to help enough in most grind wars for me.

I run Armorsmith, why do you not run Armorsmith? I find the 1 dmg to be relevant, and can usually hide it behind a taunt to flood decks have to chuck multiple minions into giving me massive gains. Plus Shaman runs a lot of dinky AOE again massive armor gains.

Any replacement for twins? Doomcaller or Curator maybe?

Twin Emperors are the best part of a C’thun deck, you really can’t replace them.

Would it be worth it to swap one of the Drakes for a Doomcaller?

Yeah I’d have to agree, I’d say patches is a really good replacement. If that doesn’t work for you for whatever reason, I’d probably put Blood Lord Thantalos in there instead

Actually, there is only one primordial drake in the deck and it’s highly risky to take it out. Doomcaller instead of elise could probably work but the extra value from the un’goro pack has saved me multiple times in the recent past.

    Replacement for Cthun?

You could possibly try ysera as a late game value card. I played this exact deck but switched C’thun for ysera because I didn’t have the very, very powerful old God. Would suggest as a definite craft for some really great fun gameplay. Have fun!!

It appears you have little knowledge of this game Darkseid. Anyone who started playing AFTER the “Whispers of the Old Gods” expansion was released, did NOT receive C’Thun for free. It was only for players with already active accounts. I have 3 accounts. One old, that got C’Thun for free and 2 booster accounts (for the 80 gold quest) – those did NOT get C’Thun for free, because those were created later.

Its nice on curve as a 2-3 it trades with all the 1-2 drops and it makes sure you hit the 10 mark point when you need it.

There isn’t a single warrior-class-taunt in the deck. the only reason to put them in the deck is because you can abuse them to get more strong class-taunts than you usually could have (as classspecific cards are way more likely to show up in discovers).
      good targets are:
shaman: things from below, al akir, earthelemental, white eyes
paladin: tyrion, tyrion, tyrion, tyrion, tarim, wicker
      or sth like that.
“why are there no warriortauntcards in this deck (so they re obviously not good enough), but still there is a defender?” should be the question. Yes you can highroll for another vek’lor but as it isn’t classspecific the chance are realy low to get it. Actually I d kick out the defender aswell for something more reliant maybe a doomcaller, maybe a tar creeper, maybe gorehowl, maybe harrisson, maybe a slam, maybe a doomsayer
