Deck Import

The Lich King’s Warlock card of choice is Soul Reaper which punishes you for playing duplicate cards and obviously means you should be playing a Reno Jackson deck if you have it. You can play around with a lot of the cards in the deck, but Reno Jackson is pretty important to swing back your health because there will be times in the early game where you get beaten on, and sometimes you don’t have enough threats in the late game so you’ll need an extra turn or two.

Mulligans

I would keep Reno Jackson if you see it. Defile can be a nice early board clear which can be setup rather easily. Voidcaller is a good keep as well, you can get an early Mal'Ganis or another strong Demon on the board for free (which can be resurrected with Bloodreaver Gul'dan). Voidwalker and Imp Gang Boss are decent early game, and you can even keep Kazakus which can get you out of the Frostmourne stage of the battle with an AOE potion.

Play Strategy

In the early game you are wanting to weave in life taps while trying to protect your health total. I’ve gotten to the Frostmourne phase with high health and low health, it just depends on how you draw and what minions The Lich King plays. It’s really important to save AOE for that phase, but Defile is really good early especially when TLK plays Grim Necromancer which helps line up a board clear.

On turn six you can develop a minion without worrying about his board because he will always play Frostmourne. This is a good time to throw down Emperor Thaurissan because you can get at least one-tick from him while not worry about The Lich King’s board assaulting you afterwards. He will just immediately attack it if you don’t have a Taunt, but it’s one of the best times to drop it. You can also play a card that has at least 6+ attack if you have Shadowflame to prepare to clear the board following turn. Doomsayer can also be played directly on turn six which will get you out of the Frostmourne phase immediately.

Once you clear the board and go into the next phase you are on a real clock to finish the game. This is a great spot for Bloodreaver Gul'dan who is GREAT in the late game against TLK. If you get to that spot and you can play him you’d likely just auto-win from that spot (especially if you got a good Voidcaller earlier in the game). If you don’t then you really have to be getting threats onto the board and dealing as much damage as possible. If you can get Lord Jaraxxus off early at this point then that can be enough to grind him down, but you really want to have hit him with an Emperor tick so you can use his Hero Power immediately.

Mal'Ganis is huge in the late game, he will protect you from a tick of Remorseless Winter because it always triggers at the start of his turn. Try to bait out an Obliterate before you play him, so you can get multiple turns of protection.

If you’ve tried this for 120 hours for real, I think that’s a good indication that you should probably stop playing the game altogether and do something else with your life. Good luck to you future.
