Try bloodlust instead of leroy its a very low cost deck and with 2 minions out its already the same amount of damage as leroy for the same cost

    Awesome Deck!
Went from 19 to 10 in one day.
For fun i substituted finley with southsea captain which actually worked pretty well.

I don’t like leeroy at lower ranks (r3/r4/r5) a lot of aggro decks and 4 mana 7/7 is a lot better vs greedy decks like dragon pirate warrior who 75% dont run execute for the 7/7 so they need to make multiple trades for it

Hey Evident, just wanted to ask should you be using ur weapons to hit face even if the opponent has nothing on the field? I know Ideally you want to be trading your weapon into enemy minions and keeping your own minions on the field but should you save charges on ur weapon or just push damage?

I think it depends on the matchup and what’s in your hand. If your hand is full of weapons then you’d probably be more aggressive with them, but this deck doesn’t play Doomhammer so you’d be more likely to hold the weapons and save them for minions. If you are against something like Miracle Rogue, then you’d want to be more aggressive because they don’t run healing.

How do you play vs control? like against priest?

I feel like you need doomhammer. Is it okay to take a deckhand out and put a doomhammer in

I play this deck with a few small changes that would also work great for budget users :
    – Patches
    – 2 Deckhand
    – Finley
    – Aya

+ 2 Azure drake – insane vs priest + card draw + spell damage = auto include
+ 2 Horse Rider – the divine shield makes it much better than deckhand
+ ancestral knowledge – you really don’t want to run out of cards (more reliable than getting life tap from finley) .

Seems like good adjustments for budget version

Any idea what I can trade out Thalnos with as well? I don’t have the essence or money to try and get it.

I’m running the same deck but with two Azure Drake instead of 2 Southsea deckhand. For Spirit claw activation, card draw, spell damage, and less risk of dumping hand in 3 turns. Plus it’s basically a 4 /4 taunt because the opponent knows you’re borderline smorcing and need to get rid of it ..mind you I’m still like 10 but so far I really like it

That is WAAAY too slow for an aggro deck.

Humm… which heroic powers should i choose for sir Finley’ power?

      Warlock, Hunter, Druid.

Small quibble… Mage power is ordinarily a better choice than druid. This deck doesn’t run doomhammer so druid power doesn’t benefit from windfurty. Mage power can be used more flexibly (allows you to potentially attack one target with your weapon and another with ping).

Interesting to take out Doomhammer. Literally every close game for me has come down to some sort of Doomhammer shenanigans to get the win.

Hi Evident, why Aya? Seems costly and Leeroy would be immediate damage… or even Azure Drake or one Doomhammer… so why Aya? Reynad plays Drake and Doomhammer if I remember correctly… Thanks!

I am currently 4-0 at rank 4, but I run Leeroy instead of Aya who won me two of the games straight…

I’m seeing versions with and without it. Obviously Doomhammer gives you more burst potential, but I think Aya gives you better ability to win a slightly longer game.

I think Leeroy is fine, it’s a good way to keep this deck more minion based and not running Doomhammer/Rockbiter.
