Secrets of the Old Gods (C’Thun Secret Paladin)

For a while I have been trying to make a decent Secret Paladin deck for the standard format (without much success I might add). However, after seeing Kripparian N’Zoth Secret Paladin deck list, it helped my list considerably. With the loss of Avenge, Muster for Battle, and Shielded Minibot, secret Paladin fell off the radar. However, with these losses it frees up some valuable space for new cards. During this decks playtesting it won a whopping 8 out of 11 games only losing 3 games against some of the top meta decks out there right now, usually finishing off the game with a giant C'Thun play or a Forbidden Healing for 20 health, placing you out of lethal range.

• While fighting a N’Zoth deck, you want to hold onto a Equality and a Consecration to clear the board after they play their N'Zoth, The Corruptor. You can use cards like Sen'jin Shieldmasta, Disciple of C'Thun, and Twilight Elder to hold of any early game played until you can play your Mysterious Challenger.

• While versus another C’Thun deck, I suggest holding onto a Keeper of Uldaman to make their giant C’Thun a puny 3/3. If you must use your keeper(s) early, then I suggest you at least try to hold onto an Equality or a Repentance to hopefully punish their C’Thun. Twin Emperor Vek'lor or Tirion Fordring are good for holding off anything until you can deal with it.

• If you face a hunter deck, I would suggest trying to draw heavily into a Consecration ASAP using your Loot Hoarders and your Acolyte of Pain. Don’t be afraid to use Twin Emperor Vek'lor if C'Thun isn’t at 10 attack yet, living is more important. Another card you may need to use before its value is 100% is Forbidden Healing. I would suggest trying to get at least 6 mana (12 health) out of it if you are in a tight spot
