I’ve been having success with this “old” list it wasn’t ever broken so I didn’t fix it, the discovery targets have changed but that’s it for the most part. I favor novice engineer because loot Horder can be stolen/silenced, would rather just have the ETB draw, I only use my minions to trade early on, there’s no need otherwise.

This deck was worse before the meta slowed down with the release of knights but it literally doesn’t need any new cards it’s in my opinion the most practical, simple, and effective version of the deck and it’s been treating me well. Vs mage is the only hard matchup, only things I could think to add are 1 eater or 1 volcanic potion but being that the list is very tight there isn’t a lot of flex.

You can literally look at my list every card does what you need the deck to do, draw, create, stall.

I don’t understand the Molten Reflections. What am I hitting that I care about?

They are the main point of the Exodia Mage combo: After you’ve completed the quest, you need both Sorcerer’s Apprentices, both Molten Reflections and Antonidas. Play the Sorcerer’s Apprentices and Molten Reflection one of them. Time Warp, take extra turn. Play Antonidas, and then Molten Reflection one of the Apprentices. Infinite Fireballs.
