Raptor now days is a wild deck. What would be a good replacement.
And is this still competitive on standard ladder? I am considering crafting Aya, but I’m not really sure if the whole Jade thing is a waste of time with Rogue or not…

By the way Journey Below will give you Aya every second time or so…

How ’bout Argent Squire? Or a 2nd SI:7. A prior version of this deck ran 2 SI and one Cult Master. Some Patches decks are not worth playing without him, but with this one you’ll be okay. Heck even Stonetusk boar, a third of the time you draw Patches before a Swash, and use Patches for a ping or Cold Blood target. This deck is not the world’s best, but it is fun and challenging. Its creator switched to Warrior to finish his legend climb.

Would bran for the edwin be an ok substitution?

      Or maybe leeroy?

Unfortunately Brann only combos with Aya and Jade Spirit for Jade’s but you can also use Brann with Unearthed Raptor to produce double Jades from Swarmer or Aya. The problem is this deck lacks draw so you can’t combo as much as Jade Druid but it’s better than Leeroy imo.

I actually climbed from rank 12 to 6 in about 3 hours of playing the deck. I have been able to beat some pirate warriors and crush renolock heavily. I really recommend the deck, I think i´ts not bad and really fun! Also I took out the two cold bloods for two fan of knives

While I do understand patches role in a aggro deck, isn’t it better to fill the spot with a card that provides more value?

I thought the same thing (why pirates and no znoth) and have played both variants of the deck. The point is you need pirates to fight off other pirates and agro decks, without early interactions you just get run over. Beyond that your main priority is raise the jade count and fight for mid game tempo, nzoth just sits in your hand and even if you do play him he doesn’t win the game on the spot. Against control decks just be smart about how you play out your deathrattles and they should run out of answers to your jades, you should be winning before turn 10 ideally anyway.

This deck is designed to go for tempo more than value. Even though it has a lot of potential long-term value in the Jades, you’re usually winning more often when you continously put yourself in the best short-term positions, aka “having tempo”. That doesn’t mean ignoring your plan for future turns, but I digress.

So our buddy Patches helps you gain control of early boards, which is extremely important. It’s crazy how often one damage makes a difference.
Swashburglar would be in this deck if Patches didn’t exist, and getting to thin out your deck should not be underestimated. The less cards in your deck, the closer you are to the good ones. Given that, Patches is a no-brainer.
The <1/3 of the time that you accidentally is not the end of the world, because of the effective Stonetusk Boar's synergy with Cold Blood (which is often better used to help you trade up than SMOrc, at least in this style of deck), Cult Master, and Argus.

Wow this is a sweet deck

I don’t know how to play it. 100 loss against pirate and shaman aggro.

    Why no Nzo’tH

I played this deck a bit, and Journey from Below has a pretty solid chance of getting you another Jade card. Both Jade Swarmer and Aya Blackpaw were common options. It also functions as an Edwin trigger.

I think -1 Cult Master or Argus and +1 N’Zoth makes the list perfect imo

      I don’t think so bro
This deck has no drawing cards except Cult Master.

I’ll don’t think your right. Potentially there is card draw out of swashburgler and patches is cinda of a card draw as your deck becomes thinner

True, but there’s hardly any consistency in banking of burglar for card draw, aside from getting Patches which is nice early in the game. The deck runs a lot of low cost cards, so playing Cultist can actually be pretty strong against certain boards, though I’m not sure the validity of running 2 of them. I’m gonna sit and try to play this list out and see what I think can stay/go, but I don’t see myself removing the only real draw engine in the deck.
