I haven’t swapped a brawl for Elise. The deck seems to perform better this way.

This is a fun and effective deck. It has some trouble against agro decks and frost mage, but if you can exhaust your opponent’s burst damage then you can usually pull off a win. For the sake of adding some useful information I offer a short play guide below.

    Play Guide:

You typically always want to mulligan for armor cards with this deck. I will usually always keep an armor card and “Justicar Trueheart” on the initial draw against any opponent. Your objective with this deck is to obviously stay alive as long as you can until you have at least one “Violet Illusionist, Coldlight Oracle, and Brann” in your hand. With those three cards drop “Emperor Thaurissan” for the mana boost. Wait your opponent out until your opponent’s deck is exhausted then drop your Illusionist, Oracle x 2, and Brann for the win. If your opponent is down some health and you can burn to the end for fatigue damage then don’t wait. This combo does a maximum of 36 points of damage with 0 cards in your opponents deck and 0 fatigue stack so unless you are facing another warrior with tons of armor you have a win.

Most awful deck what i have played, you have to be really lucky to get the play to fatigue. Mostly you have to throw all your key cards just to survive to the end. Brann + Emperor + Oracle, i never got the value of those cards. Only good in this deck is Illusionist + Bane combo.

It is not awful, just watch Purple playing it to see. He was hovering in top 10 legend with it. It is just that the deck is not as good in aggro meta, it is built for Druid and control Warrior meta.

Btw I don’t understand people bashing good decks just because they don’t understand them or they don’t work in their current meta.

Absolute garbage if you want to lose just play this. You can do nothing vs rogues who get their Malygos or auctioneer or questing adventurer + conceal. vs C’thun warrior thx to brann + doomcaller he has 3 C’thun gg ez.

First off, you’re wrong. Brawl+Minion is a thing which will allow you to have a chance to remove the concealed unit. Also since this deck has an absurd amount of armor there is a good chance that this deck just outlasts rogue. Due alot to fool’s bane which can eliminate most of rogue’s tempo minions and with any of the other spells can eliminate all non concealed minions easily besides malygos

Now c’thun warrior beats control decks, thats the whole point of the deck, there is no reason to say you can’t play this deck when c’thun warrior is 2% of the meta at best and rogue is like 7%…

    Seriously enjoying this deck.
From R 10 to R 5 no loss, beating every deck with it.
And when you OTK them for 36 to 45 DMG in one turn while they sit on full hp they go “wtf just happened”.
Besides that, the fools bane + violet Illusionist Combo is really good.
    +1 from me!

Why thaurissan? Don’t realy See either a 1-Turn combo or Many big drops. Cause let s face it. What matchup makes bran+illu+doubleoracle a wincondition. If you make it this far (let s assume you didn’t Need one of the cards earlier) you already won with just one brann+1 oracle. I think sylvanas, cairne or sogoth (then again, without a Discounter you cannot armoring the sogothturn) is a better fit.

Bran, 2 oracles and illusionist = 12 mana

If you had read my entire post and not jsut the first two words you could have understood, that i think that you don’t need the entire combo EVER

I did read your entire comment. And your assumption that you only need one oracle is just wrong. This deck essentially puts zero pressure on it’s counterpart. So, one oracle alongside Brann is unlikely to kill your opponent. If you don’t kill your opponent on the turn that the combo is played, he or she can kill your illusionist and you end up taking significant fatigue damage as well as any damage that can be put out on that turn. Due to the fatigue warrior’s reliance on clearing minions with weapon swings, it can be rather difficult to stack armor high enough to survive the blowback if you aren’t able to achieve a true OTK.

emperor is also just a really good card for high value things like gorehowl fool’s bane, justicar. if you lower fool’s bane and violet you do a 3×4 maximum damage while taking none.

    No room for Malchezaar?

    • Alsozatch
      October 17, 2016 at 2:39 pm

Malchezaar hurts the deck. Viole Illusionist makes you immune to fatigue, so you play her along with coldlights to protect yourself from fatigue. Malchezaar serves the same purpose, but clogs your deck up with legendaries you don’t want, which reduce your chances of drawing the removal you need.

Ah I see – I hadn’t realised what the play was – I thought Violet was just there for Fool’s Bane, but that makes a lot more sense, thanks!
