UPDATE: Fire Elementalx2 for Ancestral Knowledgex2

    – Fire elemental never payed off to well in match ups and I needed more sources to fuel the combos in the deck.

Recently crafted Yogg-Saron, Hope's End hoping to run the typical mage or newer druid deck but found one of its strongest combos is with Shaman! It runs close to a normal mid-range overload deck but offers a great payoff for all of the overloading when you drop yogg later game. This deck, from the games i’ve played so far, keeps a high tempo that forces the opponent to make poor trades that are in your favor. I recommend playing for value rather than trying to play it like an aggro deck, with the number of damaging spells the deck runs Hallazeal the Ascended will be able to keep you alive until you can get a yogg casting around 4-6 spells. On that note, Yogg is not a win condition for this deck, at it’s core this is a mid-range deck and that is where most your face damage will come from.

Important Combos:

– Establishing a strong board presence is very important for early game, try to mulligan a Tunnel Trogg  or Unbound Elemental  in combination with: Lightning Bolt,  Ancestral KnowledgeTotem Golem , or  Feral Spirit

– Hallazeal the Ascended should only be played on a turn where you can also cast several damaging spells. This is the only heal in the deck but it could potentially turn around a game or put you that much further in the lead in longer games.

Cards I’ve considered but decided against:

– With the number of minions you will typically have on board this card would never be an option to play, against aggro decks Lightning Storm + Azure Drake or +spell totem will be more than enough to clear the board.

– I found this card did not synergize well in the deck in comparison to some other options.
