This Mech Mage deck list has been infiltrating the ladder quite a bit as of late. Mage won the Mech deck sweepstakes by getting one of the best Mech synergy cards in Goblin Blastmage. The deck plays out fairly straightforward, and relies on hitting a good curve and taking control of the board with quality minions. Mana Wyrm is a great turn one play as it survives just about anything an Aggro deck would throw at it in the early game. It also works well with a follow-up Frostbolt, The Coin, or Unstable Portal. The other great thing that Mage got is Snowchugger. The card can single-handedly shut down weapon based classes and slow down big threats.
Fel Reaver is a card that gets a lot of attention for its negative attributes, but more often than not you’re going to be able to finish your opponent before they mill your deck. Archmage Antonidas will help you win in the late game, and it pairs great with Spare Parts. Dr. Boom is in most decks, but here it even synergizes with the Mech them due to its Boom Bots.

I have all the cards, except Fell Reaven, and I do not really want to craft them.. (seems a pretty hard to control card) so how should I replace it? Thanks :>

One of each would be good, or I’d just go with two Clockwork Knight since you already have pretty good plays on 4-mana.

I’ve replaced one portal with arcane intellect!
It actually helps a lot if you need that extra fire ball for the finish if you cant just force him down with your supreme boardcontrol. (playing vs hunter for example)

I replaced the two fel revers with rhonin and an antique heal bot(will switch out once I get archmage) and it works pretty good
Only one dr.boom or archmage? (Can only afford one)
And possible replacements for both of them.
Dr. Boom, it fits in many decks and is the most important legendary to own.
does pyroblast a good exchange for archmage as an finisher in this deck?
I think I’ve seen that before, I would stick with Antonidas, but you could try it!
In my Mech Mage Deck, I’ve choosed 1sky golem replaced 2 fel Reaver , 1 arcane intellect replaced 1clock work and nexus champion saraad replaced archmage just because i havent get that yet.( if i have archmage i would use it instead). and a flamstrike will always help you in a bad situation if the opponent has a lot of midhealth or high health minnion on the field, you would just use flamstrick to clean them all.
I find my mech mage is more powerfull face to any class. I was a brand new player last mounth, and i’ve reached Legend already before the end of this mounth by using this deck.
Hope this would any player who dreams to be on the top of the world.
By the way, Fel Reaver is a very difficult card to control for both your oppenent and yourself. You have to be intelligent to play this card, sometime you would kill yourself by melling you deck. In my experiences, i met the fel reaver many times in both Durid and mage, they would play the fel if it’s on their hands ever turn 5, doesnt even think. And the first thing i would do to deal with this huge mechine is, block it’s attack chance and destory his deck, you can easily stop him by freezing or taunt, and wait him for next turn, if you are luck, it’s simple to destory his deck in 2 or 3 turns, and destory the fel, however, if you are bad luck that couldnt finnish him in the second or third turn, then the game is over.
So, If you love the Fel, thats totally fine, but think more about the solution you opponent would make to face your fel, it could be happy or hell. Always payattention on the number of cards in your opponent’s hand, it would alow you to guess the worst situation you would make.

That can work as a replacement, but obviously it’ll make the deck weaker.
put that letter in place of fel reaver?
I’m running a mech mage with pretty consistent results right now. It has a strong curve and can outlast aggro and has enough early game to handle control well. The one change I made was Clockwork Knights instead if Fel Reaver. The knight is a beatings for sure.
I think Fel Reaver is not too good there, bgh target in a meta that still got many bgh around, and right in a deck that already got only 1 bgh target, is not too good. Making the deck having only Dr Boom as a target, is easier to let oposing bgh dead in hand, otherwise with Fels you got 3 targets and letting them make some values, pretty easy. Even so, you got Atonidas as a finisher, so even if Dr Boom did not come, you probably could draw Antonidas to finish, I say that due to 4 ways to spare parts…
I rather have him bgh my fel reaver once , and still have a 7-8atk boom/reaver left. Then having only 2 doombots… Might be just me, but ye who am I :-/.
I tried this deck out today with -2 Fel Reaver / +2 Mechanical Yeti. Went 5/5 while climbing ladder around rank 10. My initial impression is that it is not fast enough to win against some aggro decks (even with minions having slightly higher health) and it doesn’t have enough of a mid-late game kick to close out games against the new meta Dragon Priests. Actually using Fel Reavers may fix the mid-late game problem, but I’m not sure.

archmage is a very unique key card that turns ur spare parts into fireballs as finisher. Although archmage is not ur only win condition, having him helps quite a lot with win rate.

You could also try sylvanas or emperor thaurissan and piloted skygolem.
I don’t think emperor would be a good card to add as this deck has no card draw.
