I was tired of Pirates even before the nerf announcement for Small-Time Buccaneer, so I went looking for alternative card slots. The nerf isn’t here quite yet, but this deck may help when it comes. Plus, I wanted to find a way to make Red Mana Wyrm work, and it does pretty well.
With this deck you have a lot of growth options in the early, mid and late game with Mana Addict, Questing Adventurer and Red Mana Wyrm.
Play this deck out like any other Miracle Rogue but I find that Gadgetzan Auctioneer ends up just being kind of a bonus card that sometimes sees play and sometimes doesn’t even need to.
With multiple versions of each Gain card, feel free to use your first copy to bait out removal.
Leroy Jenkins isn’t a bad swap for Shaku – doesn’t provide the same mechanic but works very well with Cold Blood … I’ve been running something similar to this for a week or two on and off – experimenting with Miracle Questing Rogues with added Leroy or Malygos for an additional win condition.
I had the same question. I threw another Swashburglar in there, but I know the synergy won’t be quite the same.
