Hi, I was a free to play Player untill a few months ago. Now I reached Legend 2x so far since Un’goro and am very eager to experimenting with decks. I had this Murloc Priest Idea and thats what I got so far.

-Been experimenting with this type of deck for a while and keep roaming between ranks 4-2 on EU (15-3 stats, 80+% winrate) with this list I’ve got today.

-I tried much faster versions but would find myself outvalued by slower decks.

-You can swap Mirrage Caller with a death or an owl to answer big edwins and other big boys.

-This deck is incredibly strong with not even the best hand, however drawing poorly against certain matchups especially if they have all answers will most likely result in a loss.

-You can play it very aggressive and fast and finish of your opponents with mindblasts or you can adapt and play slower, you will have the value for almost 99% laddermatches in those ranks.

will update replays of few games with exact posted list and try keep this up to date if people show interest.

    Hey,

I tried this concept too. Started out more aggro with mindblast and more murlocks. However, there weren’t enough 1 mana murlocks so I switch to more of s control-midrange hybrid. I even ended up with yogg in there, because after all infinate shadow visions plus yogg is the ultimate yolo.

I think I differ on – mindblast, -a megasaur and mirage caller, + shadow words, yogg and tar keeper.

It was really fun and I was making progress past rank five. I believe I abandoned it because I ran into a pocket of quest rouge and freeze mage , who were stomping me.

    This looks epic.
Now I wish I never dusted Medivh and Curator… Will end up crafting those again it seems…
Also Missing Finja Dragonfire and some of the Murlocs… Sigh… Am about to craft Elise for preist… Now Im thinking maybe Finja might be a better craft (I could run him in that Murloc Paladin deck as well since I have Tarim and no use for him)? What u say? There’s no way I will afford this whole deck for a while… Too bad.

At the time I just Tirion Fordring, finja and some random murlocs…
Will Need to find some good deck for paladin that doesn’t run All the legends…

Tried running Finja in Rogue a bit, Buffing it…
But I think it felt a little clunky and slow to be honnest…

Maybe I try to make something for priest too without, Medivh and Curator for now.

          Heyo,

I also recently crafted Finja and have been trying out some Murloc Priest variants. If you have Lyra, you could try running a combo (Divine Spirit/Inner Fire) Priest with Finja. A 16/16 Finja with a full murloc board on turn 6 is somewhat difficult to deal with.

I also built an “Aggro Priest” that has a lot more early game options such as Lightwarden and has the Finja package. You could try something like that as well.

Thanks, that’s what Im thinking too. 😉
BTW, I find Lightwell very good and under used atm.
            🙂

Oh, I’m gonna try this tonight for sure.
Finja, Lyra, Medivh – everything in one cracy deck!

Dang, I do love it when people try out crazy stuff. 🙂

Fantastic decklist man! It looks really fun, and I would totally try it out. The problem is that I don’t have Finja yet. He is next on my crafting list, but it could be awhile.

Although I haven’t tried this deck, I have tried a very similar version that does not run FInja. You obviously know this deck much better than I do. However, I feel like this deck doesn’t perform well in the early game unless you get a really good curve. I also feel that Talonpriest can sometimes be difficult to find a target for in the early game. If you were to take out the Talonpriests and say 1x Shadow Visions, what early game cards would you add to the deck?

    Thank you, and good luck!

Thank you very much for your comment and question,
The key to make this deck function is to have board. A good early curve is very essential indeed thats why your muligan espacialy vs aggro decks is of upmost importance. In order to establish a board you have to have good judgement and smart use of potion of madness. playing Talon on curve is no neckbreaker, I find myself playing Megasaur on 4 sometimes without any value but beeing on board. After all Talon is still a 3 Mana Minion with 4 Health which is not to be underestimated. However I can see cutting a Talon for a Tar Creeper can be worth trying even tho it doesnt fit the concept of pushing damage and finishing your opponent with mindblasts it does provide better against aggro. As for Visions I personally dont see any replacement for that card. The amount of flexibility it provides is of a huge asset to this deck.

I hope this reply was able to help you, best regards

        Hello,

Thank you for the prompt response! 🙂

When I get Finja, I will probably test out the Tar Creeper replacement just to see if it is viable. I think Talonpriest is an insane card, but I’m not sure how often you can land it on a good target in this deck.

        Good luck!
