Deck Import

This deck is for those who don’t want to invest in cards that are about to rotate out. The feeling of crafting several expensive decks only to realise they will be rotated out in a few months sucks! But don’t worry this deck isn’t going anywhere till 2019!

If you don’t know the basics behind Elemental Shaman, check this guide out: http://www.metabomb.net/hearthstone/deck-guides/elemental-shaman-deck-list-guide-hearthstone-ung3

I’m going to assume you know the basics and talk about why I chose some of the cards in this deck that are not usually in Elemental Shaman:

Ozruk: Normally this massive fella isn’t really seen in many decks if any, however I decided to include him because he is a brilliant counter to the slower minion focused decks. If you can burn both Executes before you play him, there is not much a Quest Warrior can do to win, avoid playing too many minions along side him so there is a higher chance of him winning a Brawl. There is also very little a Miracle Rogue or Jade Druid can do against him.

He is obviously weak against Purify Preast due to Silence, and Pirate Warrior and Quest Rogue because of those deck’s aggressive nature. However he his a strong staple force agaisnt control decks. I have included many 3 mana minions that can be played before him. This will give him a good 15 health or more which is very good value. Avoid playing him when you have played any less elementals.

Igneous Elemental: Not commonly seen in Elemental Shaman as it is favoured over some other cards in the other sets, however with great synergy with Ozruk and the other “If you played an Elemental last turn…” cards, so why not add at least one? If you don’t like the idea of adding one, include another Glacial Shard or Volatile Elemental instead.

Elise the Trailblazer: Great card all round. If the game starts going into the fatigue stage, this is always a good card to have (it has one me a few games like that), but it is also another oppotunity to gain a few extra elementals or good cards which is always good!

Stone Sentinel: This one is always debatable, many people disagree that this should be in the deck, however I have included it over Flametongue Totem because although expensive it controll the board extremely well and is another wall for your opponent to get through. However if you still disagree or just cannot afford it, include Flametongue Totem instead.

Card subs (if some things are just too expensive):

Best of luck to everyone, GLHF! 🙂
