General Mulligans

These are cards that will help you to stay alive to late game. Remember, this deck is strongest in late game, despite the fact that you can destroy Cubelock and Control-lock in 6 turns (personal experience).

Hunter

This deck is my attempt to make control Hunter playable. There isn’t much of them on the ladder and I felt that there must be some working control core for Hunter. And I found one. Dragons.

This deck’s gameplan is pretty easy to follow. Use your Secrets, Doomsayers and Animal Companions to clear your enemy’s early board. Follow them with ScalewormTwilight Drake and Wolves to dominate the midgame and finish your opponent with Zombeasts, The Lich King and Dragons. Or you may go all-in with Deathwing.

Card Substitutions (for Epic and Legendary cards):

Doomsayer – It’s hard to substitue this one. Maybe some high-stated low-cost minions, some Silence minion or Vicious Scakehide .

Gluttonous Ooze – The substitution is pretty obvious here: Acidic Swamp Ooze.

Deathstalker Rexxar – Better not to replace, he’s your main long-game winrate. Best possible replacement is Savannah Highmane.

Crushing Walls – It’s not commonly seen card and it is performing very well because nobody plays around it. I would suggest some high-stated minion like Savannah Highmane, or maybe our old friend Big Game Hunter.

Primordial Drake – Unique combination of AoE, Taunt and big body. Sleeping Dragon can maybe replace him.

The Lich King – Another card generator. Try another big Dragon instead.

Deathwing – Another big Dragon should be fine.
