Confuse is so expensive! can it be substituted with anything or is it too important?

Crazed Alchemist works just as well here, but I’m sure Confuse would be more optimal. Be sure to grab it when you have the dust!

Any suggestions for subs when it comes to Aggro? It seems that the Auchenai Priest + Circle of Healing combo can often come to late in a Pirate Warrior matchup for example.

I thought about experimenting with excavated Evil or AoE spells but they don’t seem very mana efficient either.

It does pretty well against control decks I’ve found once you get over the steep learning curve, which I’m in the process of still, but Aggro seems to cause some problems. But I think there’s an answer to this somewhere.

Just won 3 straight with it – jade Druid, renolock, and then midrange Shaman. The latter conceded and I hadn’t even used any of the super buff cards.

I don’t get what auchenai and circle of healing needed for. Removal Turn 4?
Excavatel evil+engineer seems to be way better as removal.
Or at least the 3/6 that heal every spell.

In the video auchenai and circle are always unplayed.

Auchenai + circle makes a 4 damage AOE for 4 mana, which is kinda better then excavated evil except it is 2 cards. auchenai can also be used for single target removal, it is very flexible. Circle is also in the deck for massive draws with Northshire cleric and wild pyromancer.

it’s a fun deck. or funny. dunno, it’s kinda hard to gather all the components for the combo – 3 outta 5 times was I lost. but the other two times, I disgraced the opponent. 😀

This is Rage’s deck, he even says so in the video. At leats give him the credit he deserves. He might not be the flashiest streamer, but he’s one of the best deckbuilders out there. He contributed a lot to the reno mage builds that are run nowadays, and he also made the Blood Warrior deck that Hotmeowth brought to Blizzcon.

Keen to try this deck but not keen to spend 800 dust on djinni when it’s so close to rotation. It’s good that Priest has a deck that can do some burst damage though, we keep getting romped by Reno Lock & Mage
