C’thun Reno Warlock has fascinated me ever since the release of the new expansion. This is on of the decks I am planning to climb to legend with this season (I am currently at rank 3 with a winrate of approximately 63% with this deck).

Against aggro decks you win by surviving by clearing their early game with plenty of removal (mortal coil, doomsayer, demonwrath, hellfire; shadowflame is more frequently used in the late game), healing up with Reno Jackson, building a wall by taunting your high health creatures (Twilight Drake, Sylvanas, Reno, Jaraxxus’ infernos) and eventually out-mininoning them with your late game creatures. Shamans should not be a problem with this deck. Hopefully you can hellfire their Tunnel Troggs and Feral Spirit wolves, Siphon Soul their 7/7 and Ooze/Harrison their Doomhammer.

Against controll decks Reno isn’t really neccessary. Controll Priests, Warriors and heal Pallies eventually run out of removals and you can develop a board thet in the end they can’t deal with. Never overcommit your board against warriors until they use both brawls, keep track of how many executes and shield slams they have used. You should gain huge tempo by destroying their Gorehowl. Against Priests, keep track of how many entombs and shadow word: deaths they have used. Be careful of playing Imp Gang Boss and Brann Bronzebeard into the path of Cabal Shadow Priest. Against Paladins, keep track of their Consecrations, Equalities and Wild Pyromancers. Like with Warriors, never overcommit to the board. Against all these classes, it is really helpfull when you Stampeding Kodo their Acolyte of Pain to deny them card draw.
