Mulligans

General Mulligans

You want your weapon and you want it as soon as possible. Plus the cavern shinyfinder or henchclan thug cant just be ignored. In the first 5 or so turns you pretty much play as a tempo rouge. Typically if i draw the cutlass i tend to mulligan it, even with its importance since it doesnt get played till turn 5 or 6 normally.

Aggro Mulligans

If you're up against paladin fan of knives is a godsend, the fire fly can assist in early threats and backstab can kill that pesky war-raid leader or knife juggler for free. The stonehill defender is pretty obvious given its the only taunt minion in the deck and your opponent simply can't ignore the hench clan thug and a 3/3 draw a random card is never a bad way to play a turn 3

Midrange Mulligans

With so many removal options and sustain(hopefully) in the midgame theres no special cards to look for really

Combo Mulligans

If your opponent is going to cheap out strong minions its nice to have some nice removal tools. And something decent to put on the board early on is nice too.

Control Mulligans

This deck doesnt have much problem with running out of cards to play, but if you know your match is going to be relatively slow pickpocket is nice to have safely in your hand. I find pickpocket especially useful against priest.

Basically the idea of this deck is to control the early game if at all possible, get the cutlass and poison it, and steal and use your opponents class cards to keep up the 6 damage life-steal a turn. and then in the late game play Tess and watch the game play itself, ideally with you having played class specific minions that get re-summoned and spells that only go after specific targets. it requires luck to run well and has some pretty obvious weaknesses. like how destroying the cutlass takes away a lot of damage and sustain, how Tess is useless vs fellow rouges, if you burgle weapons you cant use them, and sometimes you get useless cards (totem shaman spells and warlock demon summoning spells especially). Usually good vs control decks and tempo decks but suffers terribly against super aggro decks, most popular rouge decks, bad luck and otk decks. Even with all its flaws its still fun as hell to play. i used to run headcrack(late game i often found i had a lot of unused mana) and cheap shot in the deck but i traded them out for better removal and damage cards.

Also if you get lucky you can vanish Tess back in your hand and double the fun (the vilespine and the cursed castaway arent usually bad to get back in your hand either).
