Deck Import

Aggro Stealth Rogue is an archetype that borrows from the shell of Water Rogue which had a brief stint as a solid meta deck. The deck relies on hiding high attack minions for a turn before buffing them with Shadow Sensei or Cold Blood for an explosive burst of damage.

In Knights of the Frozen Throne, Bonemare has proven to be a powerful card. Keeping a minion Stealthed for a turn is an effective way to eliminate the concern over having a minion for the skeleton horse to buff.

The deck plays very aggressively and can take advantage of some of the slower builds that have been prevalent thus far. While the deck currently has no meta counterpart, there are some improvements that can be made in some of the card slots.

Budget Aggro Stealth Rogue Mulligan Guide

High Priority Keeps

  • Worgen Infiltrator – Infiltrator is your only turn one play and should be kept in every situation. In certain matchups, leaving him in Stealth may be correct.
  • Backstab – Rogue loves gaining tempo through the use of Backstab in the early turns.
  • Jungle Panther – Ninja Huffer is your primary early game stealth minion. You want to get a three cost Stealth minion down as early as possible.
  • Undercity Huckster – Typically, you’re going to Hero Power on turn two, but sometimes you want the option to drop a minion.

Low Priority Keeps

Budget Aggro Stealth Rogue Card Replacements

Aggro Stealth Rogue is not likely to be a meta breaker in Knights of the Frozen Throne. As a result, your dust may be better spent working towards another Rogue Meta Deck. That said, the current list, while a serviceable budget option, can be improved if you already have the recommended cards.

Eventually, the archetype could work towards a Water Rogue build, eventually working in both the Pirate and Murloc packages below. Each package should be replaced as a set. Replacing the specified cards one-for-one in the packages is not recommend.

  • 1x Shadow Rager > 1x Shaku, the Collector – Shaku is far less fragile than Rager and gives you at least one extra card.
  • 1x Shadow Rager > 1x Edwin VanCleef – Massive VanCleefs aren’t likely to happen in this deck, but even generating a 6/6 can be good enough to get the job done.

Pirate Package

The Pirate Package introduces additional early game pressure. Southsea Deckhand and Swashburglar are reasonable inclusions on their own, but Patches dramatically increases their viability.

Murloc Package

Aggro Stealth Rogue’s biggest weakness is running out of steam. The Murloc Package helps counteract this by thinning your deck of Murlocs and Beasts with both Finja, the Flying Star and The Curator.

Budget Aggro Stealth Rogue Replacements

Here’s a list of cards you can add to this deck if you happen to have them or are missing anything in the list. In general, a lack of card draw can cause the deck to run out of steam. If you find that to be true, consider some of these options.

  • Loot Hoarder – Loot Hoarder can be a direct replacement for Undercity Huckster. Usually you’d want to draw cards from your own deck, but the extra health on Huckster makes a difference.
  • Sprint – This card is expensive, but can find you the last bit of damage needed to close out the game or enough minions to reassert board pressure.
  • Cult Master – Typically, you don’t have that many minions on board, but Cult Master is usually good for a couple draws.
  • Keening Banshee – The downside here is irrelevant to your deck. In exchange, however, you get a 5/5 body for 4 mana.

Hey! Thank you for this deck but, I don’t know why it’s pretty hard for me to get possitive winrate. And I know it s because I don’t play this deck correctly.
Can you explain to me how I should play? Ty

i found that this deck is a lot better if you take out a shadow rager and replace it with Vanish. I prefer this because it gives me an option against swarm decks and it also means you have a chance to mill your opponents cards. Other than that i find this budget deck pretty faultless. It is a solid deck overall

It’s certainly possible, but not necessarily as easy as it would be with other decks. I climbed to Rank 8 or so in testing this particular list.

Do you think I should invest in this deck or wait and craft a better one??

When testing budget decks, this was my least successful build. It’s certainly still possible to climb with the deck, but you might be better off investing in another deck. The tier list on the front page is a good place to start.

That said, if you really like the archetype, it does improve dramatically with some of the replacements in the guide.

Yeah, I like so much Rogue and his combos, but the problem is that Rogue’s decks are expensives and I can’t afford so much dust, so I decided to choose one deck and try to craft and stick to it for a time. Do you suggest anything??

I was managed to climb to Rank 7 or 8 at the beginning of the expansion release with this deck before moving on to other lists. My win rate wasn’t spectacular, but I think I could have made it farther with enough games.

hello, i crafted this deck and i find it really fun to play, however what would you suggest swapping defias ringleader for?
out of all the cards in this decks, i find it to be the most useless. almost never get any value out of him.

Loot Hoarder is a card I had during one iteration of this deck and it did fairly well. I’d start there, but just about any aggressively statted two-drop would fit the spot.

Why use stranglethorn when lotus assassin is almost strictly better (no beast synergy?) in every case – should be replaced imo.

Without The Curator, Lotus Assassin is strictly better. Unfortunately, as an Epic card, it doesn’t fit the requirements for a budget deck.

Rogue is a difficult class to make work on a budget. I tested and tried several different builds, but this was the only one that I could maintain a positive winrate for.

Not the decks fault you do not know how to pilot it, just netdecking a deck and then excepting it win amd then when you do not you come back and cry shows your entitlement and childishness grow up.
