I would like to assume I am decent at playing this deck. The (obviously) hardest part it choosing the right kazakus potions. I know how good sheeping is against warlocks and that type but I don’t know what to try to go for against priests. clearly the AoE is great against aggro and res is good for really attrition games, but what do you do against combo priests?

Pretty fun deck to play. I replaced Elise with Skulking Geist and Inkmaster Solia with Spellbreaker.
It works out pretty well, but it’s definatly not a deck for beginners.
If you already have most of the cards, give this deck a try, but I cant recommend crafting this deck for climbing, because a lot of the key cards rotate out and games last very long, almost every game is going into fatigue.
I love singleton decks like this, but please stop blaming dudes like kibler, if you suck playing those decks.

This deck is just too slow and not very stable for the ranked play right now. I do not recommend crafting cards for it. If you have them and want to try something else, by all means, but it’s a weak deck (at least for EU ladder). Maybe i am just unlucky or maybe i don’t know how to play it – to save the time for those who presume that.
Played 10 games with it, most of the opponents i faced had very big minions. Twilight Flamecaller has hardly any impact on the board and i think a Frost Nova would be a much better approach and a better synergy with Doomsayer. I added Deathwing for the massive board clear and extreme conditions that priests put me threw the time.

I changed it and play it in the wild format because it’s more stable, in my opinion.

Hope you guys have better experience! Cheers!

Completely agree. I play this only because love for kazakus – but playing unique decks isn’t good in standard now.
I just dusted kazakus (:() yesterday.

Idk if i necessarily agree here. I’m currently 20-9 with the deck having made two changes for cards i don’t have. Added bone drake for curator pulls and n’zoth. Skulking geist for the priest matchup and jade druid. Replaced Ink master and sindragosa. Hardest matchup has been secret mage so far. Enough board clears to hold aggro till you get to armour gain or Jaina. I am at lower ranks atm though (and on oceania servers lol). Gone from 18-13 with this in half a day.

Dominant decks like paladin is easy with the early game clears (where flamecaller is amazing) and cubelock can be beaten with the polymorph and poly kazakus potions. I am by no means a great player I have just been try harding with my mulligans and thinking about all my turns alot.

Also great to get my highlander fill before the rotation.

It is definitely a difficult deck to play. many difficult decisions. Crafting some the cards is a waste, unless you plan on playing wild as well. You probably got unlucky against all of the big minion decks, since imo pally makes up a lot of ladder. This deck has given me, personally, a high winrate. Just playstyle choice

      Safe for Wild!

I would not craft Pyros unless you LOVE control mage. It’s a tech card for value and will become significantly weaker when N’Zoth rotates.

I crafted him, 1. because I love Control mage over all other decks and 2. I started playin a bit wild cause I cant bring it over my heart to disenchant Nzoth

I had dusted Ink Master last week 🙁 – have replaced it with Zola to try and hit it with other cards (esp kazakus)

Just play the 4 4 tyrant, idk? It’s almost the same with the exception if kazakus potion, coldlight might be interesting as well

i replaced her with the Lich King, but you can use also Mediv if you play more spells. Medivh works great also with Kazakus.

I saw a youtube of kibler streaming where he mentions that either ink master or elise could be traded out for skulking geist. Personally i think this is great because i have been facing lots of inner fire priest and its good against the cubelocks too. Taking dark pact has done so much good for me 🙂

Yes, he said that Geist is better and way more reliable than Solia and I agree with him. Often Geist can almost win you a game when slammed on curve vs. Rogues (they run Cold Bloods currently), Shamans (Unstable Evolution + Evolve) and most important Warlocks (Dark Pact + Mortal Coils).

I built few days ago a similar deck (i made only few changes) and works pretty well against aggro and control..struggle with secret mage tho, but that’s not an impossible matchup. atm i ranked from 10 to 5 in about 3h, i would recommend to try out this one.
