I’ve swapped out a tar creeper and a grimestreet enforcer for 2x blessing of kings. I’ve found that it speeds up the deck a bit. Thoughts?

I swapped Acolyte of pain x2 for the Tar Creepers. Deck runs wonderfully.

Replaced a Tar Creeper and a Chillblade Champion for Acolyte of Pain and went from 8 to 5

I’m really liking this deck! I took out sunkeeper and a rallying blade and put in 2 skelemancers. Spikeridged + skelemancer is too nasty

Skelemancers also counter a major weakness of handbuff: board clears.
Defender of Argus will also give you buffs + synergy 😉

You have Stonehill and Lich King, while not directly draw, they do replenish your hand, somewhat,

Swapped 1x Spellbreaker and 1x Tar Creeper for 2x Divine favor!

what about some leeroy jenkins to replace lich king? hand buffed can maybe do around 10 dmg instant?

this doesnt seem like the worst idea, especially with the spellbreakers. i do feel some of LK’s lesser used buffs actually have some utility in this deck. army of the dead and anti-magic shell, for example. but a leeroy to close it always sounds solid.

short the black knight and the 2 corpsetakers, can probably craft one or the other, just not sure which, or what i should use to replace them

      anyone?

i think corpsetakers are more important in this deck than black knight, you can get a lot of value from that, on the other hand, black knight is just a tech card, it´s easier to find a replacement. If you´re facing a lot of mages it could be a eater of secrets, or just something to fill you´re curve.

+2 Saronite Chain Gang and +1 Buff Spell

Do you have Big Game hunter? I think black knight is mostly meant to kill Lich King. BGH is a cheaper alternative with a similar affect.

I would craft the Black Knight just because he is used in so many decks, but in this deck specifically, Corpsetaker is way better.

What are the Spellbreakers primarily used for?

    • Jim
      August 22, 2017 at 6:45 am

Good against quest mage when your minions are frozen

Plus- you kinda need it in the mirror

At 10 mana you can play the 6-drop that destroys a creature, but deathrattle brings it back, drop a spellbreaker on it, and deathrattle wont bring it back.

Not awful stats for the cost, silence is strong, I find myself using it for reach or to come back from a bag board state, since the deck has no board clears.

rode this beauty from 8 to 5 with no losses.. not that that is some sort of incredible feat, but the deck feels smooth. running a Nerubian Unraveler over 1 Tar Creeper which I think was one of kibler’s earlier iterations. enjoyable deck! thanks for posting

I was on the verge of crafting the Prince because I think it is a really good card and this list encouraged me to pull the trigger. I am playing it for around 10 games and enjoying it. Still not sure how to beat the jades, even when I land all the buffs they just grow bigger, maybe I am not playing the matchup aggressively enough.

After posting this, I played 5 matches against Jade Druid and lost only one. The matchup seems to be quite favorable.

Try running this with Stormwatcher instead of Lich King.

Even if you aren’t, don’t underestimate the value of having windfury on your corpsetakers.

Haha nice. I’m sad Uther DK hasn’t really found a spot though 🙁

      August 21, 2017 at 9:10 pm

that card is really good, but it dosent benefit from buffs at all, you might find it in other decks.

        August 21, 2017 at 9:20 pm

Yeah I more meant in general than in this deck. Yes, I’ve seen him in decks (and tried him), but nothing really stands out, which is a shame – I honestly thought he’d be better. Overcosted maybe? Already too many good weapons in Pally? Not sure….

          August 21, 2017 at 10:38 pm

Uther is just a bit slower compared to the other deathknights that clear boards and summon minions.

          August 21, 2017 at 10:48 pm

He is pretty fun in Wild with the pandas and garrison commander OTK deck

        • Horsearx
          August 23, 2017 at 4:08 am

I can assure you that the hero will get better as time goes on. Once the next rotation hits, there will be less weapons and healing in paladin, and his effect will be more valued. not to mention it’ll likely be easier to hero power OTK when more cards are added. Its a card with alota potential even if its not played much now. Besides, I still see him a lot personally, to fair success.

          August 27, 2017 at 4:30 pm

Uther has little synergy with handbuffs.
Even his card takes up a slot in your hand where something could be buffed.
