Community Hearthstone Decks of the Week (Standard, Old Gods) – May 13th, 2016

We’re starting to see more control decks infiltrate the meta, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see some more combo decks like Firebat’s Combo Priest start showing up on the ladder to counter them. Let’s take a look at some of the interesting lists that were submitted by our community this week!

If you haven’t already you can Register and create new decks with our Hearthstone Deck Builder.

These decks are chosen based on originality, popularity, and guide construction. Utilization of all aspects of the deck builder, e.g., Featured Image, Deck Description, and Mulligans makes you far more likely to be chosen.

Check out all of the Community’s decks here.

I haven’t seen much in the way of Mill decks recently, but RockerMJ has put together a Rogue list that includes a few cards from the new expansion. Cult Apothecary to keep you alive, Shadow Strike for removal, and Shadowcaster to duplicate those Coldlight Oracle!

Thanks to RockerMJ for the submission!

This is a pretty cool blend of C'Thun synergy and Shadowform. I think it would be awesome if we are able to finally find a competitive Shadowform decklist!

Thanks to Shamil for the submission!

This might be the strongest C'Thun deck type in the meta. The C’Thun Druid deck has fallen out of favor a bit, and I’ll be interested to see what’s next for the card.

Thanks to Cludgie08 for the submission!

As more control decks infiltrate the meta you’ll start to see combo decks prey upon them. Slower decks allow combo decks to draw into the pieces they need, and all the healing in the world can’t stop 30+ damage. This will eventually usher in aggro decks to take out the combo decks and the cycle of the meta continues!

Thanks to ATesla00 for the submission!

This is the start of an interesting Dragon Paladin list that uses buff spells, Dragons, and cards that synergize with buff spells! Durgulach is looking for some feedback, so make sure to give him a hand with some card choices!

Thanks to Durgulach for the submission!
