would this work for the druid quest if you chose the 5/3 stealth or got the 5/5 through fandral?

Yes it work for both since its still a 5 power creature.

This might be the only choice card that actually have negative synergy with fandrel since stealth negates taunt, which can be problematic when you actually want a taunt to soak up damage

Not really it lets you have a 5/5 that is able to attack the next turn then able to block after you attack with it. And yes if you need the Taunt then yes it can be a Problem but for Fandrel i would try to save it to use with Ancient of War/Lore for that reason or the cards used in Jade Druid. This is more for a Druid Quest deck then to be used in a Fandrel deck.

Why is this rated so high?!

This card is shit and FML if I open it in my packs…

You either get a Senjin Shieldmasta (jaaayy….) or a 5/3 Stealth (wooow! a slightly better then jungle panter and only 1 mana cheaper then Stranglethorn Tiger which is +2 health).

But you can use Fandral to get the immense combination of Taunt / Stealth OMAGOWD…

There’s a thing called flexibility. It’s a 3/5 taunt when you need it to be a 3/5 taunt, and it’s a 5/3 stealth when you need it to be a 5/3 stealth. Under your logic, wrath and living roots are terrible cards since with wrath you get either a dark bomb that doesn’t go face or a shiv that doesn’t go face, and with living roots you either get 2 1/1s or a holy smite/arcane shot

      Are you serious?

As already mentioned this card is very flexible and can be either defensive or aggressive.
Senjin Shielmasta is a great card and a 5/3 stealth is extremely dangerous.
Both of the choices are beasts and will therefore have lots of synergy.
4 mana drop which will improve Druids curve immensely.
      Helps progress your quest.
      Synergy with Fandral.
      etc.

I could see this making it in lots of different archetypes.

You shouldn’t directly compare cards with similar stat lines and abilities and decide that they are weak. That’s not really how the game works.
