I’ve just realised it! This is a Yogg nerf, isn’t it?

Not Really. It uses flat any mana crystals so they don’t have to be filled. If they are blown up by a big AoE than you just get them back. The only way this is likely to backfire on yourself is if Yogg does this and then Vanishes. If anything it buffs Yogg.

Question… it says “transform”… will this be different than “summon”

For example, if I play this card while addled grizzly is in play, will the tokens gain the +1/+1?

    i have a cool combo @.@
    turn 4 spiritsinger umbra sticks
turn 5 living mana = all your mana back + 5 treants that also give you more mana
it should work right? since spiritsinger umbra’s text says summon instead of play

Yes it does work. That combo with Pilfered Power on the same turn and you have ten mana then for your 6th turn to play with. I can kind of see Druid going two different ways when it comes to playing the huge creatures from this set with ether the quest or this combo. Maybe even a hybrid of the two.

what if combo this with the gadgetzaan card that gives you 1 mana (or empty mana?) for each of your minions? -it costs 3 mana, so you go back to 10 if using both at 10mana; my only question is: will doing that give you an excess mana after this guys die? cause if so, it could become a free 7 card draw

Ramp Druid. Innervate + innervate = 5 2/2 that give permanent mana

One of the devs said it doesnt work with temporary mana crystals and only counts max mana. So if you innervate innervate this on turn one you will end up looking like a retard who used 3 cards and 5 mana to get one 2 2

could be cool with nzoth in some deck with double savage roar.

This card isn’t actually terrible. Playing it on turn 10 creates 7 2/2s and leaves you 3 mana spare next turn, which is exactly the cost of savage roar. If they have to trade minions into it you got 14/14 of value for 7 mana, if they can’t clear it you straight up kill them (if all are left up savage roar will do 30 damage) and even if they do board clear them it was a 1 for 1 in terms of cards. It is a bit slow and terrible against devolve but if midrange druid becomes a thing i would run a copy.

      you could just play onyxia.

wELL i guess so but 2/2s are significantly harder to clear for some classes than 1/1s

you can drop living mana on turn 5 but not for onyxia. We often talk about how good cards are when they are flexible.

Ok so this is how Druid in wild is going to work for now on turn 1 inervate inervate astral communion turn 2 living mana turn 3 cry as the shaman on the other side uses devolve

Turn 4. Draw Evolving Spores. Get Flaming Claws. Do at least 21 face damage because you still have a full board and 4 mana.

Don’t think this is as bad as you’re all saying, its just a buffed force of nature, and if it gets devolved then your opponents deck is likely just terrible. Same goes for vanish and mass dispel. I think a kazakus potion is the only real counter.

Here’s a vid for those who were asking how the card works.

definitely not as bad as people think, first if you couple it with innervate you basically turn your innervate into a 0 mana double wild growth which is insane (when the minions die you get the innervated crystals back as real crystals). Second yeah vanish and mass dispel counter it but who the heck runs either of those in any competitive deck… no one they are way to slow against any other deck. the only counter to it that sees play is devolve which is only available to one class and is only used as a one of in most competitive decks if it is used at all

innervate doesn’t give you mana crystals, it just gives you mana.

Yeah i just read a post about that my bad, still an ok card but without the innervate synergy i thought it had alot less good. Definitely playable in aggro druid at least if its a thing

    Cool. Challenge Mode.

This card would make any match up really hard to win if that is what you are in to.

Alternative challenge come up with a worse card then this.

      Purify 2.0

overall not that great but can save your live in some rare situations so maybe nice to have one of these in your deck, or maybe a piece of another unknown deck type

    Devolve is a card

    March 24, 2017 at 8:38 am

This on turn 1 with double innervate could be devastating… i’m assuming that the “temporary” mana crystals are turned into minions too… but this is the only case that this card seems “pretty good”

    • No
      March 24, 2017 at 3:42 pm

Nope. If you notice when you use innervate/coin, the temporary mana crystal about your max mana is destroyed. If you double innervate this out on turn 1 youd only get 1 mana tree.

The linked Mana Treant says Deathrattle and also this cards says “when they die”.
Devolve and Vanish won’t trigger Deathrattles, so it should absolutely destroy this card.
