Since when did the currency in Azeroth become unreasonable

I don’t even play Shaman and I was taken back on how overcosted this card is.

Not fair. Warlock get a 2/1 1 mana with battlecry: heropower
    An shaman gets 1/1 2 mana heropower…
    Wtf.

    8/10
Seems to be a direct upgrade to Tainted Zealot, to say the least. It is quite flexible and produces a pair of tokens useful in AoE buffs like evolve or bloodlust. Also, because a totem is summoned, it has synergies with cards such as Thing from Below and Primal Fusion, though both examples are soon to leave Standard. All in all, an above average card.

Wow this is bad. So we either have 2 mana for a 2/2, a 1/3 taunt, a 1/3 Spell Damage +1, or 1/3 Healing totem. All of those sound bad with the possible exception of the Spell Damage one, but Kobold Geomancer and Bloodmage Thalnos both exist, so why would you even bother with this? It isn’t even sturdier than Kobold Geomancer since the 0/2 is still just its own body. Is this for that stupid Stormcaller dream? Blizzard, you’re putting too many eggs in this basket. It’s not happening.

In arena this is poor, but playable in a pinch. A pair of 1/1s for 2 is bad, but sometimes you just have to deal with that. Its flexibility helps it a bit.

    Standard: 1/5
    Arena: 2/5

more bodies is good for evolve, flametounge, etc
the choice you get gives flexibility
might not be a bad card trying to set up the meme combos for totem shaman coming
but all in all a decent card, not great but definitely playable

When all the options are this bad though, flexibility doesn’t really help it at all. And there are better 2 drops if you just want more bodies.

this is basically a silver hand recruit for shaman…

    Constructed: 1/5

    Arena: 1/5

Let’s just take a look at all of the choices:

    – 2 mana 1/1 summon a target dummy
    – 2 mana alleycat
    – 2 mana 1/1 summon a 0/2 that heals all friendly minions by 1
    – 2 mana 1/1 summon a 0/2 with spell damage, making it a 1/3 kobold geomancer split up into two bodies

All in all only two choices are worth it, healing and spell damage. The taunt one is situationally good. The only thing that would make this card remotely great is if this expansion has more totem synergy cards, otherwise this isn’t going to be played much.

Not a good card, 2 mana is overcost.

Shaman’s Hero Power is 2 mana summon a random basic totem. This for the same cost let’s you choose the totem and attachs a 1/1 body on top. Honestly it’s not a terrible card since if you don’t have anything to play on turn 2 this just a better version of your heropower. Though I agree this won’t see much play in the meta.

Bad comparison because you need to play this from your hand (i.e. you lose a card), whereas by hitting the hero power button you don’t lose a card.
This basically says “you get a one-time slightly better hero power and a 1/1, but you discard a card from your hand”. Is that good enough? Probably not.

Yes the hero power is 2 mana but they are overcosted. Mage deals 1 dmg for 2 mana, all hero powers would cost 0 mana if they were a card so i don’t see ur point. Getting just a 1/1 is bad, it would also cost 0 mana. If u combine two 0 mana cards i think it should cost 1 mana. There are alot of better 2- drops

I think you forget the “choose” tag. It costs more due to it being a LOT more flexible and not having to rely on rng, not saying the card is really good, it’s just more than a basic hero power.

this is overpriced, let’s say this was the mage hero power.
            Summon a 1/1 and deal 1 damage isn’t worth a 2 mana card, it’s a 1 mana card that sees no play.
Yes you get to choose so this is slightly better, but not 1 mana and then some better

2 mana 1/3 spell power totem would definitely see constructed play
