What does “Create a custom spell” mean?!

With this and the other Kabal cards being added, I feel like we may actually see non-aggro warlock decks again.

Finally can put together that Cho’gall/medivh renolock deck, play this aside with arch theif rafaam, and hopefully warlock gets some much needed healing, and some good defensive midrange cards, then were in business

Anyone think this legend is worth crafting into gold?

Is this Reno type kinda minion and if it is, it ain’t worth of putting in to a deck… unless you are doing a reno deck 2.0.
Althought I can be wrong about this being a Reno type a card =)

It’s one card that is usable by three different classes. Each crime faction is the combination of three classes, Kazakus is in the Kabal faction so he’s usable by Mage, Priest, or Warlock. I have three separate cards listed because it makes more sense with how the deck builder is setup.

This card would be good if there weren’t already so many lame aggro decks that could literally be played by a bot and win over 50% of the time. This is going to cause more aggro decks to appear because of how strong these spells are.

That makes literally no sense. No Agro deck is going to use this card, because 1. The spells are much more controlling than they are aggressive, and 2. Agro decks can’t afford to have only one ofs with how many essential cards there are in the decks.

Hes saying it will stimulate people to play more aggro to counter this

a random spell is MUCH worse than a spell you can put together yourself, you might not get the strongest minion but you have pretty much full control over how much mana the spell costs and what the spell does

Brann + this + manic soulcaster = so much fun and also exactly 10 mana so no emperor needed 😛

    For anyone that cares.
    There’s a total of 216 spell combos.
In Trump’s review, Brode came in and said there was 9 different spell effects (you only get to pick from six though).
    Meaning we get 3 (mana cost) x 9 (spell effect 1) x 8 (spell effect 2)
so 216 cards you could make out of this.

And there’s a total of 1680 different set of discovers.
it’s 9 Choose 3 x 6 Choose 3 (and you always get the 3 same choices for mana cost)

Or so I believe. Feel free to correct me.

    Your Welcome 🙂

Mike Donais said the order in which you pick the two parts of the spell doesn’t matter – the game orders them for you in the best way (eg if you pick 6 damage to all minions and then polymorph all minions, the spell will actually be: polymorph all minions, then deal 6 damage to all minions). So there are half of the number of spells as you stated – 108.

Been too long since we got some amazing Renolock support! Can’t wait to play this card. And in control matchups you can save it for Brann Bronzebeard. The value is off the charts. No doubt in my mind that this card will be an amazing addition to Renolock, Reno Mage, and Reno Priest.

I’m not sure of this and the internet doesn’t consistently give the same answer to this question but isn’t Reno moving out of Standard?

He will be next year once that adventure/expansion is launched, but not until then.

I think this card could be pretty good, depending on what cards you can make from it and how consistently you can make a certain combination. Considering they said there will be over 100 combinations, I am guessing that you won’t get the same choices every time (similar to how Finley gives you 3 choices out of 8 possible choices). The fact that it is a 4 mana card though is very good because it is easier to combo with Brann (unlike Rafaam) and it doesn’t take an entire turn to use (again, unlike Rafaam). The only downside is that it has to be used in a “Reno Jackson” type deck.

      u have 3 chooses 3 times each
      first u have 1 5 or 10 mana
      than u have effeckt
and u have optionaly second effeckt so it can be easly over 100 combination with taking each time same effeckts
