That’s not how fandral works. This isn’t a Choose One effect.

    8 7-7 mana choose 1:
    -instantly fill you board
    -destroy your opponent’s board
    -make pirate warrior concede
    -kill your opponent

    Just what shaman needed

Just as a note the card search function doesn’t include all of the re-classified elementals yet.

Blizzard thought “ohh, since we screwed up the shaman quest, lets give them a decent legendary card!”

This just curves perfectly into the new taunt elemental on 7, and is straight-up the strongest card we have seen in this expansion so far (fitting that it’s for Shaman). Elemental Shaman might very well become the strongest new archetype. Tar Creeper and Stoneshaper ensure early-game survival, while cards like Fire Elemental and Stone Sentinel are well-suited to clear up most threats in the midgame. And they all just curve into the best 8-mana legendary in the game (sorry Tirion, you got demoted). I seriously fear that this can become the new secret paladin,

I know Brann will rotate out but… just think at a double Invocation of Fire: it’s 12 direct damage for 8 mana. I can’t imagine what Shaman will become in wild XD

Speaking of Wild… Neptulon is becoming an Elemental; that’s a 7 cost legendary Elemental which curves nicely into Kalimos AND greatly helps with the Shaman Murloc quest…

… and of the 18 current cards that are joining the Elemental Tribe, 8 of them are Shaman and 6 are neutral so, as it stands, Shaman also has by far the biggest pool of Elementals to draw from.

Neptulon has overload. So it cannot curve into kalimos. The new. Shaman elemental however can curve nicely.

          Damn – forgot the overload… that’s a shame 😐

Neptulon has overload (3) so you won’t be able to play Kalimos the following turn (or maybe on turn 10 with a lava shock…)

This plus everyfin is awesome = 1 9/9 plus 6 3/3 for 7 mana. Balanced

Remind that Everyfin is Awesome is being rotated out as it is from LoE

      March 22, 2017 at 4:23 am

Nope. Everyfin is Awesome synergies with murlocs not elementals.

White eyes, Kalimos primal lord, jinyu etc. control shaman maybe still viable?

Control shaman was always viable since WOTOG. Just wasn’t played since other shaman decks were better.

Losing elemental destruction is a big blow, will volcano be able fill that gap? Even with this card it seem sketchy to me.

What the fuck Blizzard. This card is broken. Seems almost as good as a quest reward.

This card is going to be a huge card for shaman and I feel that all shaman elemental decks will have this card. It’s too bad the quest isn’t about elementals though or else my favorite class would be unbeatable. I get it though. It allows for more kinds of decks!

this guy does it all: abyssal enforcer, onxyia, fireball or rag snipe, and rag lightlord

    March 21, 2017 at 4:58 pm

Holy crap! You choose the effect?

The stats are in line for a boring 7 cost minion so you’re getting an effect, which you choose the one you need for the given situation, worth ~4 mana… for 1. This is a really good card.

Need an Abyssal Enforcer? “Yeah bud, I’ve got you covered, only I won’t kill your minions. ”
Jinyu Waterspeaker? “Yeah, I can do that too – two of them, at once.”
Hmmmm, could just use a fireball about now for lethal… “Well, now that you mention it.”
Damn, maybe I should call Onyxia? *Ahem*

This is a pretty good card with alot of flexible options for invocation. I wonder if there will be a decent Mid-Range ‘elemental’ shaman deck once the expansion is released…

    March 21, 2017 at 3:48 pm

    The Invocations are:
Air: deal 3 damage to all enemy minions
Earth: fill your board with 1/1 elementals
Water: Heal your hero for 12
Fire: Deal 6 damage to the enemy hero

Yah nice comment. Only if you read the part ”You get to choose which invocation is played”

This card makes my donger rise. First of all great card for the control/elemental shaman deck and its a better rafaam because you can choose which effect you want right away. The only thing I find a bit dissapointing is that the shaman quest and legendary dont synergize and warlock’s does but that only means more diversity of possible new decks

    • Baran613
      March 21, 2017 at 3:26 pm

I think they just added the 4th option of dealing damage to the face because it wasnt there when I just watched it but that just means there is 25% chance you wont get the effect you want unless you can choose from all 4 the effects

Considering it doesn’t say “Cast a random…”, I’m assuming you can choose which one to cast?

    What is an elemental invocation?
